I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

    Roni,
Being that I’m new to your site it’s great to read all the posts I missed because I didn’t know they were out there. The 15 minute one is awesome. Being that I am physically not able to do the jogging thing I came across a DVD “Leslie Sansone Family Walk” that I was going to sell on Amazon. I had used it a few years ago but for some reason stopped. There is a 15 minute mile walk session on the tape and I have started doing it again. I feel great doing it even though as I’m walking into the room to put it on I go”I’m to tired,I have other things I really should be doing etc.” I have kept on doing the tape not letting my excuses rule me and now with your 15 minute brilliant idea I will use that every time I try and make up some excuse not to like myself enough to take care of myself. I have to always remember that even though I am pushing 72 and not physically able to do many things there are still ways to take care of myself. I am learning to love myself enough to give myself the gift of 15 minutes for me.

I don’t know which post this past year that you shared a quote from a weight watcher leader that went something like, “it isn’t what we do occasionally but what we do consistently that matters”. It was in reference to eating outside of our food plan. This quote simply put into words what I had come to figure out but couldn’t verbalize! Thank you for sharing that little piece of wisdom that is a good reminder for me.

The other thing that I have taken away from your posts is that for emotional eaters sometimes we are going to fall back into wanting to nosh on something! When that overwhelming desire strikes I sometimes cave and go for a high volume low calorie item and no longer beat myself up for it. I just move on!

Thank you for your continued inspiration and awesome blogging! Happy New Year Roni!
