NOTES TO SELF...

Note to Self…

The ONLY reason you want to eat right now is because you’re tired. That’s what happens when you wake up at 5:30 AM to workout. Speaking of, GOOD JOB this morning! I told you going to the gym in the morning would be a good idea. Less obstacles and excuses when everyone else in the house is asleep. And hey, it’s only 2 days a week.

Since we’re in a patting-yourself-on-the-back kind of mood… Great Job on your tracking this week! Now, you know tomorrow kicks off the holiday festivities. Instead of driving yourself crazy take the week off from food journaling. NO, this is not an invitation to binge for a week. It’s about trusting yourself and living in the moment.

Now go to bed. You’ve got a big day tomorrow! Tons of errands, The Husband’s birthday and Little Bean’s 9 month appointment. Can you believe he’s pulling up? Yea, either can I!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Nice note. “It’s about trusting yourself and living in the moment.” I like this part the best.

Have a great holiday and tell your husband happy birthday. Today is my birthday too.

    Cheers!

Happy Birthday to your husband. We celebrate the holidays early so most of my parties are over, just a few more family outings I am looking forward to. I didn’t track during my holiday time, but I did write every night to remind myself that the holidays are about so much more than eating. It worked wonderful for me and even though I did gain some over the holidays(very little) I got your email a few days ago and am right back on track and feeling good about myself and looking forward to the family parties that are still left.

Love the notes to self — we do need to remind ourselves that we are not as we think!
