If You Are What you Eat…

12 Comments 1438 views

I’m a chocolate chip cookie.

My word! Did I eat a lot of cookies.

I’m at Mom’s celebrating an early Christmas. The whirlwind started last night and I just, as in right now at 10PM, had a moment to myself. I kept up with the food journal up until 2 hours ago when we pulled out the desserts. It was then I mindlessly ate cookie after cookie after cookie! Ugh.

Now I feel like a beached whale.

*sigh*

It’s over now. No stewing. No regrets.

I’m not going to share the food photos from the last two days because honestly, I’m whipped. Instead I’ll share 2 quick shots from our Pre-Christmas celebration.

We had so much fun! Now I’m looking forward to our first Christmas at home even more.

I’m going to do my best to do a traditional Sensational Sunday Post tomorrow, but being at Mom’s and traveling home tomorrow night (it’s a 3 hour drive) it may be hard. I’ll do my best.

Right now I’m going to pass out on the couch watching Indiana Jones with my parents. :)

‘Night!

Been there, done that. But, you know what? Eff it. You enjoyed some cookies. You’re in a mini-vacation. Don’t sweat it.

Just look at how you smile in the first pic of the post. If it takes chocolate chip cookies to enjoy this day to the point that a pic of your smile makes us smile too, so be it!

Your hair is SO freaking cute – I don’t know if its just the lighting in the top shot, but the brunettish blondie thing looks beautiful!!!! :)

I hope you enjoyed every moment with your family regardless of the # of desserts. Happy Pre-Christmas Celebration!

If you are what you eat then I am a giant piece of Dove peppermint bark! I know better than to buy a bag of these evil/delicious chocolates! lol Thanks again for posting! It reminded me to not beat myself up but to move on and focus on balancing it all out. SO here’s to tomorrow and a brand new day;-) Have a safe trip tomorrow!

PS: You always look beautiful in all your pictures! You rock that short haircut!

I know how you feel we made our first batch of homemade cookies today and I lost count of how many I ate. So it looks like I am going to have to hit the gym hard tomorrow.

This post was EXACTLY what I needed to read this morning! I had a wonderful day yesterday (early Body Pump class, worked on my holiday cards, journaledmy food, made wise food choices)until 10 pm (when my husband and adult son were snoozing on the couches). During that “moment to myself” I hauled off and ate waaay too many almonds, pretzels and chocolate mini-cupcakes. I should have simply gone to bed. Today’s a new day – time to jump right back into the saddle and continue the journey forward.

I LOVE your hair! I think the longer cut really suites you and the color is awesome! Looks like wonderful family time you’re having! Good for you to not “give up” when you eat more cookies than you would have if you’re being “perfect”. I love your attitude and have learned a lot from it!

I don’t know too many people that don’t slide into a cookie coma at some point in the year. NO REGRETS indeed!!! Safe travel home Roni! Take care.

I know exactly how you feel. BUT, you are definitely not a chocolate chip cookie. You look fantastic- fit and happy!
