FOOD JOURNALS

Day 2 of Tracking? I ROCKED IT :)

8 Comments 1237 views

I’m literally falling asleep as I type this. It was a looong day. An early morning workout, cleaning, taking care of baby, running errands, helping with homework, I’m pretty sure every moment of the day was utilized.

I’m spent!

BUT I couldn’t go to bed without sharing my food journal. Check it out I figured out a way to embed it!

I <3 Google Docs. Click here to download a copy of the tracker for your own use!

I have a picture of everything but I don’t have the energy to prep them all. I did, however, post the Orange Ginger Tuna Salad on GreenLiteBites, here’s a pic…

I also had a little fun at “Dads” expense on Baby’s First year.

Not a bad day’s work. ;)

ok. Sleep!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Where did you get your tracker. I like the simplicity but usability of it. Did you make this up yourself?

Thanks for sharing your daily tracking – it appears that you are using the “old” system? I am thinking of going back to that myself – it worked, so why fool with it!

Seeing your tracker inspired me to get out my old paper journal sheet and make some copies – but an excel version would be even better!

Excellent job! I love that you make little notes to yourself in there too. Always fun to look back on in a few months/years! Now go to sleep! I’m gonna hit the hay myself. Long days ahead.

I love your excel pages. I wish I had done that when I started in 2002. Tracking is the one thing I do well. Exercise is the thing I let slide. :( Really enjoying all your blogs.

Roni–I totally respect your decision to use the “old” weight watchers points. However, I am saddened by the so many people who seem to use the program switch to kvetch instead of DO! As Blog to Lose says…”No matter the plan!” I love the etools and am looking forward to becoming a lifetime member (7 lbs left to go + maintenance–fingers crossed) so that they will be FREE along with my membership. I think if I decide that free fruit doesn’t work anymore, I will just put the fruit in as a recipe so it will show up as points. So, now I am going to set the timer and start cleaning my house so that I won’t be embarrassed when the dogsitter comes while we are out of town :-)

I agree. I shared my thoughts about the new plan but I’m not going spend any more time talking about it. I choice to count old points because I know it works for me. People need to find what works for them and then DO IT, like you said. There is no one size fits all for losing weight and living healthier.

You’ll make lifetime. I just know it! :)

You’re doing great! I was inspired and decided to renew my ‘no sugar no wheat’ challenge I had been on a month or so ago (and lost ten pounds on btw). I am on day four back on track and am already down two lbs. woot!
