Weekend Quote: Your Thoughts

6 Comments 1061 views

Sometimes I find a quote that needs no story or explanation. This is one…

You don’t have to control your thoughts; you just have to stop letting them control you.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

This. Exactly this. Especially the negative thoughts. It’s so easy to talk yourself out of doing the right things.

You don’t have to control your thoughts, and often you can’t. But you can control the actions you take as a result…

    Great quote, Roni…

SO hard to do this…but working one thought at a time is how I’m handling it. Just like one activity or one meal at a time. One thought at a time is the way I can do it.

Oh the power of thoughts! If you can manage to have more positive then negative you’re on the right track. If you can use your thoughts to drive you to your goals. then way to go!!!

So true. I experieced that this weekend. I found a Zumba class to attend this week, taught by a friend, and I’ve really wanted to try Zumba, but almost talked myself out of going Sunday afternoon. I had to ask myself why I was talking myself out of it? BTW, I did end up going and loved it.
