How true is that?

Anyway, I’ve gotta make this quick. I’m watching the Notre Dame game with the husband and it’s half time.

I’ve been a bit down. Eating just to eat. Skipping workouts for no real good reason. Not sure why. I’m just in a mini funk. I’ll run my way out of it tomorrow with the last scheduled training run before my half next week.

10 MILES!

I’m freaking out a little but there’s nothing to it but to do it.

Right?

RIGHT?

yikes.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

You’re going to rock your run! I’m doing 5 in the am, which means I should get to bed! I love that quote, I’ve got to figure out where to put it…

    Hi Roni,

My name is Jo and live live in Manchester England. I have been following your different sites for a while now, especially GreenLiteBites. As many other people have said, you have been a real inspiration. I have just been watching the podcast from “other posts on this day” and I think I can safely say that I too am a complete sap! The “confidence issue” section really hit home with me. Whether I have been 20 pr 30 pounds lighter or heavier I have never had the self-confidence to feel good about myself and never really felt worthy :-( Perhaps it’s time for a shake up!! It’s almost been like therapy to log and follow your journey as there seems to be so many paralells.

On a lighter note I also wanted to say “Good luck!” for your half marathon! I’m sure you’ll be fab! My husband is doing a half next Sunday called The Great North Run in Newcastle England. I call him Forest as in Forest Gump, he literally can just keep on running, lol!! I’m not so naturally talented my max is 10K.

I hope to speak again in the future.

    Jo xx

The only thing you can do is look forward & give it your best. You will hit the ground for your run like a winner

I find it ironic that in your “Other post on this day” you posted “Virtual Kick in the Butt”!!! Get out there and do that run!!! :-)

The best thing said to me before my first half in April (which Ieven attempted to do because of your inspiration) was “It’s only running, you can run!”.
