One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

9 Miles and Sensational Sunday in Pictures

11 Comments 1585 views

I’m getting pretty good at this going to bed early thing so I’m going to cut this short, and just share a few photos of my day….

9 miles today! only 2 weeks until the half. This is the breakdown of each mile.

I came home to my boys and we had breakfast.

I started with a Dark Chocolate Banana Almond Smoothie and had some eggs with some "happy" toast.

I had the BEST company at breakfast.

Then the boys worked on our LEGO Calendar.

We were a couple of days late for the new month.

The family hit the grocery store and I went a little nuts in the produce department. (notice The Husband in the background, he was venting about the Notre Dame game NOT my produce. lol)

We decided to snack on some pears.

Then it was GRILLING time! We had friends coming over.

Little Guy caught a Black and Yellow Garden Spider after dinner.

She was beautifully creepy!

It was hot enough for super soakers…

fun enough for smores…

and got dark enough for flash lights.

Really a fabulous day! I had a bit too many Mike’s Light Hard Lemonades so excuse any typos above my normal 5 or so. ;)

Looks like a great Sunday! We have some black and yellow garden spiders in our yard too. My girls LOVE them. I dig the funky webs they make. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

What a wonderful Sunday you had. Your life looks so unbelievable. I wish I could have come to the grill out. Was that sweet potatoes cooking? I have never tried them that way, but maybe I should.

Looks like a great sensational Sunday. Love all the produce you bought! I always have issues with produce going bad before I have a chance to use it, so I usually stick with stuff like apples/oranges that take a long time to go bad, but I would love to branch out.

Looks like a great Sunday! Got my training run in this morning with my Sis-in-law :o) Great job on the 9! Any new songs that you like to run to and care to share? I’m always asking others to add a variety to my selection.

I’m looking forward to running the half ‘with’ you! I feel as though I know you, only you don’t know me. I’m a 30-something brunette (5’4″) from NJ with 3 children ages 4 mos, 3 years and 5 years. If I see you, would it be ok to say hello? It’ll be fun to read your account afterward :o)

The lego calendar looks like fun! Bet my oldest daughter would enjoy it :o)

As for the produce, I often tell people I’m like a kid in a candy store when I go to our local farmer’s market here in NJ :o)

What a fabulous day! That Lego calendar is adorable – my son would have loved that when he was little.

Spiders creep me out! My kids had a pet snake when they were young and I still can’t believe I let them have a snake in a cage in our house! I use to have terrible night mares about it escaping!

I buy produce like that as well and we seem to eat it all up in no time flat!

Of Course Jen! I know quite a few people running that half. It should be a blast!

P.S. Been planning to post my summer running mix for WEEKS! It’s getting too late to post!

Looks like you all had a wonderful day! I cannot wait to be able to do legos with Elliott. We also love the Bumbo. It has really helped with Elliott gaining development to sit up. The food looks great too!
