FOOD JOURNALS

Just a Food Journal…

6 Comments 1050 views

It’s all I have left in me today. I’ve been feeling a bit out of touch. Like I’m pulled in too many directions.

It’s my own fault. I need to make some decisions and prioritize.

In other news…

Food Notes
2 egg veggie omelet with onion, peppers, broccoli with some fresh berries on the side Eggs are still my fav breakfast.
Apple Pie Larabar After run snack
Chickpea and Tomato Salad with Fresh Basil with some watermelon on the side My new favroite salad! Makes such a great lunch too.
banana a little hungry. Wanted something to hold me over until dinner.
Spiced Tomato Soup We were eating leftovers and I had a craving for soup. Strange on such a hot day, I know.
Popcorn and a Red, White and Blue Cupcake I wanted something sweet and salty.
Activity
2 mile run AND yoga. — Had to do tomorrow’s run today for logistical reasons.
Water/Vitamins
MUCH better. I almost floated away. ;)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I’m making this salad Tomorrow!! I’m laying in bed, showered, teeth brushed, checking email & reading your food journal is making my stomach growl!!

Good job getting your water in, Roni! That was your one goal for yesterday, and you accomplished it. So get out of that funk… and hey, I not only did NOT accomplish my one goal for yesterday (some upper body strength training), but I also ate wings and a calzone and beer for dinner. :( It was a mid-week date night, what can I say, I biffed. Oh well, up and at ’em again today! Ran/walked this morning, and feel great!

Roni, do you use canned beans for the salad? How do you think it would be with dried ones that I’ve soaked?

The photos from greenlight make my mouth water! Have I mentioned how much I looove delicious food photos? I’ve been tempted to start a blog on Blog to Lose community just so I have an excuse to take (and a place to share) food photos! Fun cupcake recipe… hope you get time to relax and get “back in touch”. Maybe you just need a good ol’ Roni-day.

Mo – I so use canned beans. Honestly I never made chickpeas from dry. I don’t see why it would be any different. I only use the can beans for convenience.
