One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

BLOGGING THOUGHTS

Holy Crap! BlogHer is like NEXT WEEK!

13 Comments 1569 views

Who’s going? Anyone? I’ve been so out of the blogging loop–Not that I was ever really in it but a new baby makes it even worse.

I’m excited about attending but also nervous. It will be the first time this breastfeeding momma will be away from her Little Bean. I’m looking forward to a little escape, but I’m hoping being away from baby doesn’t distract me too too much from all the festivities.

Here’s the sessions I’m most interested in…

Friday

10:30-11:45am
Minding Your Own Business | Bad Blogger Pitches (The Other Side of the PR-Blogger Relationship)

1:15-2:30pm
Change Yourself | Food Photography That Will Feed Your Soul

2:45 – 4:00pm
Change the World | Our Food Future: Kids, Cooking, and Health

Saturday

10:45 – 12:00
Room of Your Own | Great Blog Design

12-1:30pm
Lunch Keynote: Exploring Inspiration and Leadership with Indra Nooyi

1:30-2:45pm
Change Yourself | Unplug, Unfriend, Unfollow, Unwind: Is That Sacrilege?
OR (haven’t decided)
Birds of a Feather Track One | Modern Marthas: Women Who Blog Hearth and Home and the Stereotypes They Smash

3:00 – 4:15pm
Change Yourself | How Do You Sustain an Online Community and Keep Your Own Sanity?

10-1am
CheeseburgHer Party – I always stop by for a burg! ;)

Are you going to BlogHer? What are you looking forward to?

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I’ll be there, speaking on Saturday (when you’ve chosen two other panels, heh) but let’s make sure we meet up. At the very least, see you at the 5k!

I’d love to go, but can’t for two reasons: one – I feel like this is for “professional” bloggers and I”m still getting my feet wet. Two – I can’t afford another travel-filled event this summer.

It’s August 6th… Saturday right? You have to “select a date to attend” up near the top of the screen to see the options. I did the 7 to 8:15 one…so I can go to breakfast right after! It won’t matter that I’m sweaty during the rest of the day right? HA.

If you go to the unplug, unfollow, unwind session I’d be really interested in hearing what was said and your takeaways – thanks Roni, and good luck with the time away from the little bean! :-)
