Little Bean was in a bit of a mood this afternoon.

I, on the other hand, have been feeling much better. I got a bit more sleep last night. Definitely not as bad as the 2 nights before. I’m actually writing this early and planning on hitting the hay in about an hour. So let me hurry up and just give you a few points….

1.) Kept a great food journal. Momentum is starting to take over again. See below.

2.) Took a quick 1 mile run. Tried to go as fast as could without stopping. Here’s where I am right now…

I’m shooting to "test" myself weekly. I’m hoping it will be motivating to see a progression in my speed.

3.) Little Bean really was in a mood today but I’m starting to read him pretty well. You’ve got to see the two pictures I posted on Babble today, click here.

Food Notes
split a mango with the little guy Getting fruit in him in the morning is getting harder and harder. I don’t know why!
Chocoate Mint Quinoa This was FABULOUS leftover and cold right out of the fridge. Must make more.
quick wrap made out of leftover chicken, salsa, lettuce and a bit of cheese. I found some leftover chicken and whipped this up. It was a great lunch.
small dark chocolate bar I don’t know. I just wanted to something sweet!
yogurt cup After school snack with the little guy. He’s obsessed with my yoplaits!
Edamame, a salad, tuna based brown rice sushi and some lo mein Out to dinner tonight. I just wasn’t in the mood to cook. :(

Not good on the water at all. I’m just not making the effort. I’m going to have to start doing this again. Took my vitamins before the run.

    Awesome picture! You imitate Little Bean quite well. Great job on the fast mile. Impressive. I’m slowly trying to build up my running stamina. It’s really hard, especially when I’m carrying lots of extra weight still. My goal right now is just to get in ten minutes of running in each exercise session.

    Absolutely love the photo of you and Little Bean! That needs to be in the slide show when he gets married or something! Price-less.

    Oh my gosh, he is sooo cute! You did a very good face! ;)

    Great run! I hope that I will be able to run someday! For now, I take my water aerobic shoes and walk/jog laps in the shallow end of the pool!!! :)

    Hee hee, a disgruntled baby face is so cute!
    Awesome food day and run, Roni! I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again, your site inspires me daily since I first found it back in 2007. I have 20 lbs to go to hit goal and I’m so excited to get there. Went for my first (short) jog in a long time this morning and it was hard, but worth it. Felt great being out early. Thanks for keeping up the daily posts, on good days and especially not so good days too!!!

    LOL at your faces! Very good eats today and I would never have thought to make chocolate quinoa! I love chocolate so this is intriguing.

    What a difference extra sleep can make in our energy level. Hope you get many more sleeps like that!

    Ok that picture made me laugh out load:) I have a 2 year old that use to make that same scowl at complete strangers. I’d catch people looking at him kinda puzzled and they’d say ” your baby is glarring at me”. It makes you wonder what they’re thinking:)

    Oh my goodness. He is already so big since Fitbloggin. Love that pouting photo of the two of you.
