One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Town Fair Pictures and Food Journal

I have nothing left in me tonight. Three kids strolling around a fair took everything out. Here’s a few pics and my food journal.

Me and Bean! I must admit… I feel like I look old in this picture. :(

They were having a BLAST!

A fun treat for me!

Click here for a few more pictures on babble. Little Bean has been doing great on his first trip away from home.

Food Notes
2 egg omelet with onion, mushroom and kale plus some quick home fries made from a leftover baked potato An amazing breakfast. This one is a keeper.
watermelon mid morning snack
leftover grilled chicken breast, baked beans and a side salad great lunch
FiberOne-Like bar Mom had why oh why did I have this? I wanted something sweet and thought this was a good option. I’m regretting it now. If you are wondering WHY I’m regretting it read the comments on this old post.
a few calamari, 3 slices of pizza and 2 meatballs out at dinner Dinner with the in-laws at a local italian place. We all split everything.
1 chocolate candy apple This was my attempt at being "good" at the fair. Thin coating of chocolate and I could nibble on it while walking. It was delish!
1/2 a root beer float couldn’t resist. Got one to split the with husband. He ended up not liking so I threw the other half away. I was getting real full anyway. Proud of myself for indulging and not going overboard.
Just a stroll at the fair
could have been much better

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Hey Roni, Glad you had a fun night out! What stroller/stroller insert are you using? I have a 4-month old and thought I’d have to use a stroller with an infant car seat adapter until about 6 mos. Please share! Thanks!

I was just thinking what a beautiful photo of you & little bean!!! No way to the “old” comment. That apple looks scrumptious – love chocolate and fruit! I made a goal this weekend to only eat my minimum points and see what happens next weigh in. Usually weekends are bad for me (and by bad I mean going way overboard on WW points) – so I’m excited to see what the difference will show, if any.

I guess we are our own worse critic! I was admiring how nice and rested you look and then I read that you thought you looked old in that snap shot!

Looks like a fun family time. Enjoy!

I chuckled when I read that you thought you looked old . . . I think you look spectacular . . . I was thinking how cute the baby is in that picture because with the look he has on his face he looks like a tiny little old man:)

I just read the comments from that old post, and holy cow! Laughed my head off. Haven’t tried Fiber One, and now I never will. But it’s great entertainment value!

Just love the picture you titled “Bright Eyed at the Fair “. Love the expression on his little face.

Looks like big brother has his own little “mini me”. The boys are pretty much identical.

As you well know, they grow so very fast, so enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
I’d love to go back and do it all over again. My youngest is almost 23… so hard to believe.
