One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

A Sensational Sunday Through Pictures

Little Guy and I got up early and hung out. It was so awesome!

We had some fun in the kitchen. Well, I did. Bean just sort of watched. Click here for the A Simple Minted Mango Crêpe.

I also had fun going through some stuff Mom pulled out of storage.

Little Guy joined in time to see a remnant of my 80’s patch obsession.

Laundry time. This week I got the whole family involved.

What goes through her head? Seriously! Look at the expression!

While I straightened up, Little Guy and The Husband put together ANOTHER LEGO set.

I needed a break and made some quick tuna salad that I served on cucumber rounds. SO fun and tasty.

By the time I was done, so were they.

He’s really loving the sets and it’s great Father/Son time for them.

Of course AFTER I clean up he wants to play with the messiest stuff ever.

Time to head out! Lunch and a movie on our agenda!

Z-Burger it was. Little Guy is obsessed with their pomegranate shake. He’s a pom fanatic!

I got a veggie burger with all the veggies and we split fries. I was a bit disappointed. Their veggie patties used to be spicy and black bean based. Now they are pretty plain. Next time I’m going turkey.

ALL my boys watching Cars 2. Best photo I could take in the dark. :) Note: Cars 2 was just OK in my opinion. Little Guy LOVED it.

Dinner was a mish-mash. I had the last Bacon Cheese Inside Out Turkey Burger from the freezer, the boys had fish sticks, and I made a big batch of Quick Sugar Snap Peas. Oh! And that’s a beer in the background. I had a craving. :)

After that it was bath and bed for the kids.

The only other thing I squished in was a trip to the grocery store after dinner. I’m totally ready for the week!

Love Tuna with cucumber – but I always put it IN the tuna. I LOVE the idea of having it ON the cucumber!

Hey now – the first tomatoes of the season are cropping up here… I wonder how to get tomato in there without it getting all watery?

Yum… now I want Tuna for Lunch!

Moonsand is gone at our house and never to return. We’ve started only playing playdough outside too. Makes cleanup SO much nicer :)

Arrggg!!! I can’t stand that Moon Dough stuff. I got a set on clearance for my son and that stuff only lasted a day…..It was in the trash as soon as he was done with it. It is still lingering around the house- ha!!

I am the meanest mom EVER. EVER. No play dough or moon sand or any of that nonsense was allowed in our house.
Legos are huge in our house still. My husband and sons play with them all the time. They have a huge tub full. Every holiday they get more.
I hate it when we go places and I make a healthier choice and am underwhelmed by it. Good thing you had that stuffed burger in the freezer to beat the craving!

That Skid Row patch brought back some memories!!

The moon dough/sand became an outside only toy in our house after the first use. My son loves it but what a mess! Cars 2 was just ok to me too but my 5 y/o and 2 y/o loved it.
