A New Playlist, My Food Journal and a Running Battle Scar

I totally biffed tonight.

I don’t even know how it happened. I was getting lost with Eminem. Trotting along, and then… whoa

Lost my footing.

I stumbled through the next three steps, not able to regain my balance, then down, face first towards the sidewalk I went.

I stopped myself with my hands, but my momentum still brought my shoulder and face towards the ground. Even my knee got scraped up a bit.

It shook me. I thought I was going to get a nasty headache but, I dusted myself off and finished the run, and now I feel FANTASTIC.

Even though I’m a klutz. ;)

Anyway, here’s my latest mix. I’m all over the place with this one. Some are explicit.

    Oh my! Well, at least you’ve got some cool battle scars to show off;-) I just added Lose Yourself this week to my playlist too! It really gets me going when I’m running. I also added Bullet with Butterfly Wings (Smashing Pumpkins) and some Muse. It feels good to change up my ipod. Well I’m glad you only got a few scrapes. I’m always afraid that I’m going to lose my footing and twist my ankle or do something that would put me out of commission!

    try falling off of your rode bike while clipped into the pedals:( OUCH! thank goodness no broken bones just a few bruises! get back up, dust yourself off and go again!

    I once forgot apparently how to ride a bike, while I was riding it, and had a really REALLY bad fall. I bashed my head pretty hard. My parents were just mad at me that I wasn’t wearing my helmet.
