Ok, so I’m not doing the best on the diet front this week. I confessed some of my stress eating, there’s been more. It’s not a big deal. I refuse to give myself a guilt trip. It is what it is and I own all my food decisions.

I don’t have to be perfect.

Actually I will never be perfect BUT I can and will be accountable…

I knew I would not be able to make my meeting today so yesterday I snuck in for a quick weigh in.

.2 down.

I’ll TAKE IT!

Actually I’m ecstatic. I really was expecting a gain.

Let me warn you I’m may be a little sketchy on the blog for the rest of the week. FitBloggin’ festivities start this evening. I’m excited and nervous. It’s going to be a crazy few days.

To help me cope with the stress I snuck in for a quick pedicure. It was my way of taking a breather and patting myself on the back for weighing in.

I went with a fun green…

to match the overall color scheme of the conference…

I love fun toe colors!

There is one thing I’m keeping in mind for the next 3 days….

CONFIDENCE.

I’m going to do my best to be confident. I meant every word I said in my recent, What Makes ME Feel Beautiful post.

Ok, I’m off… I need some sleep to help prepare for te craziness!

  1. Love the green! & I had a food “incident” too – will not stress about it. It’s OVER! (thanks for the advice!)

Aren’t FUN toe-polish colours are always uplifting!? I always go with sky-blue for summer. Wishing you an awesome time at FitBloggin’ and looking forward to your posts about it! Congrats on the great weigh-in – the calmer weeks will be even better for you I bet. This was exactly the post I needed to read as I at 13 flex points worth of cereal last night. Even though I was accountable, it’s the fact that I felt out-of-control eating that makes me feel blah today. On to a good day today!!!!

I looked at your weigh in and realized that you eat more that I should and then remembered you’re tall and just had a baby :) Then the lightbulb went off. Right now I’m 5′#’ and 275 pounds (that traumatic weight gain snuck in without me even seeing it coming – FIL passed I thought I was ok with it) Anywho – it dawned on me how great it would be to be 163 pounds. Heck it would be great to be 225. I’ve been signed up at WW online and probably paid for more months than I followed the plan. But I didn’t cancel so there must be some kind of motivation going on (YOU perhaps?) I know WW only gives you a small goal to attain but for some reason I just see the 125 I would LOVE to be, not the 160, 170, 180, 220 etc that it would feel so GOOD to be. Thanks again for being in my life. You are making me think below the surface and someday I’m sure that will kick in in my brain :) Keep up the awesome work and have a great week!!

    Hey Roni:

I’ve planned 2 conferences in my short life. After the first one, I remember lying on my bed for an entire day–staring at the ceiling fan. I’m pretty sure that there is little more difficult or more rewarding than event/conference planning (except maybe being a parent). Be good to yourself. Try to have fun in the midst of the drama of it all. Forgive mistakes–no one else will notice, and even if they do, those who matter will definitely understand!
Best of luck, you definitely fall under the category of “luck comes to the prepared”!

  11. Kate says:

Happy FitBloggin’! Have a great, smooth and successful conference!
