A Sushi-astic Weigh In Day!

I had Sushi TWICE today. I’m not sure how. It’s just short of happened, which is kinda funny becuase a few years ago I thought it was the grossest thing ever.

Anyway, have to cut this short. I’m falling asleep here.

    Sushi is so yummy!!! My favorite is just a piece of raw salmon, dipped in soy sauce. Yes. I thought it was icky too. Until I actually tried it. It was SO NOT HOW I WAS EXPECTING IT to be.

    I had a good week too… – 2.7 Ya for us!!!

    Congratulations on the awesome food/activity-week and weigh-in! I remember you mentioned that you don’t feel like you need to count anymore as it’s automatic for you now…. but I’m wondering how you would count your sushi photo with the old system? 10 points (Six for the egg roll and 4 for the sushi)?

    Tina – Did you mean old or new points? lol

    Old – I’d do 1 pt per piece, so 8 and then the spring roll, maybe 4?? So my estimate would be 12 for the plate.

    New– I have NO idea. I’m bad at pointsplus Maybe someone will chime in.

    Thanks Roni! I was referring to the old system. I always give 1 pnt for TWO pieces …. hmm, maybe I should be giving 1 pnt per piece. Sushi always confuses me. And I have it once or twice a week.

    I’d normally count 1/2 per piece but that was a big roll with double tuna so I went with 1 per. SO my basic rule is 1/2 pt per simple and veggie based rolls, and 1 per for the ones with stuff on top and sauce.

    Ahh, okay, that sounds right. Yes, I give 1/2 pnt per piece because I normally order the small sushi that only has 1 tuna piece surrounded by rice and seaweed. No mayo, no crunchy deep fried bits. Thanks! I’d be happy with this as dinner every night.

    I enjoy reading your blog but….. the ads are a bit much…there is an ad that pops up from the left side and it overtakes a portion of the screen so I can’t even read your posts. I can’t get it to go away?! I’m visiting less because of it! Anyhow, congrats on your weight loss progress!

    Karen – Just let me know when that happens.. it’s a mistake from the ad company and I just need to let them know.

    As a full time blogger I do my best to keep ads out of my content yet still make an income. It’s a delicate balance.
