One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

A Sensational Mother’s Day Sunday!

14 Comments 1836 views

I had a FABULOUS day with my boys! I have to cut this post short becuase I’m exhausted but I had to at least share a few pics of our Sensational Sunday!

First, for breakfast I had my latest creation….

Crescent Pizza Pockets

SO good.. and fabulous out of the freezer! Click here for the recipe.

My Mother’s day gifts were homemade cards…

A butterfly was Ryan and the caterpillar, Evan. The husband wrote me a cute poem but he asked me not to share it. Considering I plaster him all over the internet on a regular basis I have to respect his wishes.

My other gift was this…

Have you ever seen such a glorious site? It reminds me of this hysterical book I saw the other day. LOL

We spent the afternoon out. Lunch at PF Changs where I went a little nutty in the food department. No guilt here. It was good and I was celebrating. After lunch we went to see Rio. Cute movie, what I saw of it. I kind of dozed off in the middle with Little Bean on my chest. The kid is like VALIUM!

After a short walk and some shopping we came home and had a light dinner.

It was a wonderful day.

In other news… I went out last night! With NO kids or husbands! ;)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

My kids are 8 & 11 and I still fell asleep at the movies with them recently! If they could only make those movie seats recline a little!

I remember that baby-as-valium feeling! 5 years ago, right after she was born, I remember passing my daughter around from me, to my husband, to his sister and then his mom. We ALL fell asleep while holding her. Its the best feeling to doze off with a baby snuggled on your chest :)
