Sensational Sunday Shots

It’s a more pictures than words kind of of night for me. I started off strong this morning and then my energy just slowly drained away. Now I’m procrastinating sleep when I shouldn’t just because I want to watch a little brainless TV. Not good. I know.

Anyway, this morning really did start off fabulous. How could it not with these two?

We got straight to work. Well at least I did. lol

I kid. The Little Guy actually was a great helper. We had a lot to do as last weeks laundry still needed to be folded. Bad, I know.

The cat simply watched from my office.

And that’s where she stayed the majority of the day. Bitch. lol

Soon it was time for breakfast. I made the Husband eggs and bacon (1 extra slice for me)

and I made some oatmeal.

What I made was something similar to Green Tea Oatmeal with Dried Fruit and Almonds but I used a peach tea bag and pecans. I’ll post it on GreenLiteBites if I get a minute tomorrow.

After breakfast the cleaning commenced. I even went as far as removing all the VHS tapes from our living rooms shelves to help with some of the clutter.

I was all business but I still found time to have some fun.

Little Guy and I finished up our latest Fun Fusion creations.

I also took a "snack." break. Today’s green smoothie was banana, an orange, spinach and a bit of kale.

Then it was back to work. Cleaning today was almost therapeutic.

I actually enjoyed it. Weird. I know.

Soon it was time for lunch. We settled on simple PB&J with a side of veggies.

After lunch had some one-on-one baby time.

We ended up taking a short nap on the couch while watching ET. It was nice.

Even though I napped, by 5PM I was completely exhausted. We ended up hitting KFC for dinner before heading to the grocery store. I had a grilled breast, baked beans and green beans.

When we got back it was bath times for the kids. We also put all the groceries and laundry away.

That took every last bit of energy.

Before bed we opened our traditional LEGO Minifigure.

Now I’m ready for bed but I got sucked into the new Game of Thorns series on HBO and I’m snacking on a pumpkin vitatop. I’m also sitting here stressing about the conference. I’ve accomplished a lot so far but there is still so much to do and this week will be challenging. It’s spring break. I’ll be home with both kids all day. I sort of wish I had no other responsibilities right now. Ugh.

Aww, I love the pictures of Evan and Ryan. So cute. Ryan seems like such a great big brother. I can only imagine how busy you are with cinference planning. Do you have conference planning helper that you can delegate tasks to so you can spend more time enjoying spring break? This isn’t exactly the same thing but 4 years ago I started a week long stay over summer camp for girls ages 12 to 18. As you can imagine there was a lot of work to be done and nearly endless decisions to be made and every little decision seemed oh so important! Although I loved what I was doing, two years ago I felt like I was almost burned out with it. At that point a wonderful, compotent, like-minded person volunteered to help me plan and direct the camp. I can’t even tell you what a difference that made! Having someone to share the workload and help make decisions is wonderful. Didn’t mean to make this comment so long but I guess I’m saying that IMHO if you don’t have a right hand helper now you should look for one for next year. And enjoy spring break with your precious boys as I’m sure you will. Keep in mind that They are only young once but there will be plenty more conferences.

I’m not about to tell you you should love the points plus system. I actually think that anyone who CAN lose weight doing it “intuitively” (which is basically what you’re doing) has it made! Congratulations!
The one thing I’d like to mention about the new system that you haven’t in your post is PROTEIN! My biggest pet peeve with the old system was that the points calculation weighted carbs the same as protein. That drove me crazy! A chicken breast got the same high points as a twinkie? Crazy. Now, that’s not the case – and I love it. I personally think the changes are for the better and I’ve rejoined because of it.

I repeat – I think if you’re successful doing it by your own way that’s amazing! And I’m jealous. Lol.

I love the green smoothie idea. Thanks for it .I made my 3 sons a green smoothie today with celery, peanut butter ,banana, romaine lettuce, and raisins[like the ants on a log snack] they really liked and so did I. They have had those green machine smoothies in a bottle they sell at Starbucks . They are too expensive for 3 of them. This is great for making cheap at home and they get there veggies .

Your week sounds like it will be fun with the boys, but hectic too. I wonder if there are any other bloggers out there who would be interested in co-organizing FitBloggin! I would…if I lived in the States…and actually had a blog… :0)

Your guys are so cute together!!!! By the way I made your green cupcakes for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party on the 16th and all the kids and even the adults loved them (even after I told them I had put 4 cups of spinach in them) I can’t wait for the pink cupcake idea…..I’m SO making them for Easter!!!!

Such a cute pair of boys you have! Sorry you are so tired but it’s bound to happen at this point, babies just do that to their moms.

Looks like a perfect kind of Sunday with family. I love days like that.
