I survived my first day on Spring break! Both boys are doing well and mom actually got a little work done.

I am weighing daily while losing and the morning reading was 168.6. That made me smile.

Breakfast was my new cereal obsession

Little guy and I then played a few rounds of Uno.

For lunch I made an experimental burger for a recipe I’m working on. I’m happy to say it was a success but you are going to have to wait for the details. ;)

A little while later I was craving something sweet. Thankfully I had a couple of dark chocolate jellies.

I also snacked on some popcorn.

Dinner was yet another burger but this time a Boca.

I made the boys regular ones with the leftover meat from lunch. We also had some baked beans and broccoli.

A little while later I had another one of my pink cupcakes. I’m working on the post for GreenLiteBites but it’s taking me FOREVER. I’ll get it up before Easter, I promise!

Ok, must sleep. Tomorrow I’m taking Little Guy to a LEGO class. I thought it would be a fun (geeky) activity on Spring Break. :)

Oh! and I got my walk in. We went before dinner. :)

  1. I think the LEGO store is awesome! My sons are 15 and 13 and they still play with LEGO’s sometimes. I’m pretty sure they own thousands and thousands of pieces. Did you know you can buy LEGO’s on e-bay in bulk? Parents whose kids have outgrown them will sell them by the pound – you should check it out!

I’m all for a 2 burger day and yeah for being in the 160′s!!!! You are doing awesome!

Boys NEVER grow out of Lego! My boyfriend is 29 and still insists we go to the Lego isle when we are at the shops. You seem to be adjusting so fantastically to your new addition, you are such an inspiration. I wish I lived in America so I could come meet you at FitBloggin. Also, those burgers are making me hungry!!!!

You rock, Roni! Your posts always put a smile on my face. I just watched your video for making popcorn in a brown bag. Thank you so much for putting that up. For years I heard about all the chemicals that are found in those microwave popcorn bags, it’s so nice to know I can finally enjoy some popcorn without worrying about the chemicals. As a side note my 6 year old watched the video with me and she was just so tickled that your name is Veronica, just like her. :)

I LOVE that you’re losing again- because I discovered you after you achieved your goal weight. I’m “slow but steady” in losing weight, and your current weight is my lowest! Five pounds crept back up over Christmas, and haven’t managed to come off yet, but it’s nice to follow your loss as I attempt to kick-start mine :)

    And Little Bean is *adorable*.

  5. I remember those Lego days with my son. He use to set up these elaborate Lego play areas in strange areas of the house like behind the couch or in a corner of the room. We use to say that his bedroom floor was wall to wall Legos! Good times…

I am intrigued with your cupcake creation and it looks like perhaps beets are involved and I love beets! Can’t wait for the recipe.

I can’t wait until I see 168 again… 1.5 years ago i was 162.. then I got married and gained.. I also was diagnosed with PCOS which contributed to my weight gain.. I gained 30 lbs and currently down 6, but I am not getting my period, which is posing struggles since hubby and I are TTC. :( Can’t wait to be that weight I think my body would be much more happier and maybe carry a baby then .

Glad to hear the scale is going in the right direction ! What scale do you use? I need a new one …I dropped my current one and it does not work anymore

That burger looks heavenly! YUM! :)

  9. That might be the fattest burger I’ve ever seen.

It has a surprise in the middle. ;)
