One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

PREGNANCY

Quick Post Baby Update.

27 Comments 2380 views

I had a plan while on my blog maternity leave–line up a few guest posts from fellow bloggers and share updates about me and the baby when I can. Well, as we already know, not many things go exactly according to plan. We must react and adapt.

Since Little Bean decided to arrive early many of my guest post writers haven’t even had time to submit and I’m still in baby honeymoon phase–sleeping when I can and just spending time with the family.

I do plan on recording a “Week 37” Pregnancy update video this evening and telling a bit of the labor and delivery story. I have so much I want to tell you but I’m purposely staying away from the computer for long stretches so I don’t get too overwhelmed.

I did find time yesterday to post on GreenLiteBites yesterday and you MUST click here to see the picture I captured of Little Bean in one of his alert times. He melts my heart!

Other than that… Nursing is going well but he’s small and sleepy so it’s tough. We saw the Doc yesterday and will be going back on Thursday just to keep an eye on him. The Little Man is adjusting VERY well and has been amazing around the baby.

Ok, just wanted to pop in for a minute and let you know all is well. I’m signing off to crawl back in bed with the husband and watch cheesy movies. We are enjoying some time alone while Little Guy is in Kindergarten and Little Bean sleeps.

Thank you all for the well wishes. You have no idea how many times I smiled, cried and laughed reading all the comments. You guys are amazingly supportive and I appreciate you more than words can express.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

He will not really wakeup for a few weeks – but then will take off for sure.

Enjoy this special time. Don’t get yourself stressed out, your family is your priority, and while we all enjoy the updates we also understand that you need your personal time now. Remember you should be on maternity leave!

Enjoy the family time, Roni! I know it is wrong, but I envy you just a little bit on how awesomely small your little bean is. My sisters and I have all had 8lb+ babies (my sisters both had 10lb+), and they get big QUICK!

Enjoy your time off! We can use this opportunity to go back and read some of your older stuff. I watched a video the other day when Ryan was like 3 years old! (http://greenlitebites.com/2008/10/22/quick-french-toast/)

Roni–enjoy your time with your new little guy. We’ll all be here when you get back:-)

My little guy was 5 pounds 4 ounces at birth and is now a 35 pound 38″ tall and nearly 3! It goes super fast.

What did you name the new fella?

Congratulations Roni!! I’m so glad that your sweet little blessing is healthy and everyone is adapting well. My son was almost 6 when my daughter was born. Since he was an “only child” for so long, I was expecting a lot of jealousy. Like your Little Man, he adapted very well.

Congratulations Roni! I’ve been reading you for a couple of years now, and I am so happy for you- enjoy your new little one, he is so cute! I am glad Ryan is enjoying him, I am sure he will be such a great help-my oldest was 8 when my last was born, and he was and still is a great help with her almost 3 years later!
