One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Friday Sanity Check!

9 Comments 1414 views

Ok, I’ve told you this before. These Friday posts are way more for my sanity then anything else. I literally need to open up the top of my head and dump everything that’s been swimming in there so I can move on. It’s strange, I know.

On GreenLiteBites…

I made the husband some chicken wings for the super bowl. He’s obsessed! I also made a pressed portabella sandwich and showed my technique for using a george foreman grill as a panini press in this weeks video. Oh! and last night I made the kid approved Chicken with Mango, Carrots and Sugar Snap Peas.

Favorite pic of the week…

All I had time for this week was a tutorial on how to add tabs/pages to your facebook fan page. Of course they upgraded since then so my screen shots are already outdated. You gotta love the web!

Favorite of pic of the week because it was outdated in 2 days…

On Poop Butterflies….

I gripped about the Super Bowl intro, shared a clip from my favorite comedian and snapped a picture of Little Man drawing on walls. :)

Favorite picture of the week… (Well ONLY picture of the week)

On FitBloggin…

Just a post from the Fit4FitBloggin’ girls! Lots of things in the works though!

On BlogToLose…

I finally posted a new challenge based on two recent Questions of the Week! Once I’m in post baby weight loss mode I hope to pick up the frequencies of the challenges!

Other things across the interweb…

Pictures posted on social media sites…

Posted Monday – I’m trying to work here. I mean SERIOUSLY…

Posted Tuesday – It’s official! I’ve replaced my evening sorbet addiction w/ green smoothies! This 1 is banana, mango, strawberries w/ spinach!

What’s in the works?

  • As if I wasn’t crazy enough, I committed to speaking at the next WordPress Meet-up in Baltimore. I would normally be nervous but I’m doubly so considering I’ll be giving the talk 8 months pregnant and feeling quite insecure in my body.
  • Gotta pick the giveaway winner
  • Continue planning FitBloggin’
  • Work on the nursery
  • oh! and hitting up Boot camp tomorrow. I feel the need to MOVE! :)

WOW huge weight just lifted off my shoulders. Gotta run. House is a mess. 25 minute before little man gets off the bus!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the chaulk board wall. We are moving soon and it’s now a must have for my girls to have one of these!!!

I love that chalkboard wall, too!!! That is fantastic!

I also love making George Foreman paninis. :)

The toddler is getting so big!! Just reading this post makes me tired! Hope you have a great weekend!

Yeah I’ve wondered about the chalkboard wall before… I love the idea, but wanted to ask… does chalk dust get EVERYWHERE??? That would drive me (and my allergies) nuts! Just curious. ;-)

It collects at the baseboard so it’s pretty easy to clean. I was worried about it too but it’s not as bad as I thought. They also sell dry erase board paint now! That’s a little neater!

Hmmm so it doesn’t get all over the carpet? Oh, and something I’ve learned during teaching is that dry erase board dust and markers are even worse… cause it STAINS!!! :-)

ohhh that’s true! The dust does get a bit on the carpet but again, it’s just at the base. One run with the vacuum attachment and it’s up.

Look at you being all Miss Knocked Up Knock Out!
And your schedule? I need a nap just reading your post.

    I’m codependent like that.

And? I had a chalkboard wall as a kid. Great FABUTASTIC memories. Just seeing yours made my blood pressure go down.

    Thanks! – Kirsten
