I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Your podcasts are one of my favorite TV shows! I don’t have a TV but sometimes I want something on while I putter about the house or make dinner and your videos are so perfect for that. Today you’ll be keeping me company while I rearrange the living rooms for the delivery of a new sofa!

I really like your now recording day. Way more nicer to me to watch it on Friday mornings (I´m an European) than on Saturdays. That was a good podcast ! Thanks !

Thanks for the linkage lady! :) As always, great vlog! I freeze everything in individual portions, you can always unfreeze 4 servings if need be but once a solid lasagna is frozen solid you would need a chainsaw to divide it up. :)

I just wanted to tell you that I usually NEVER watch videos on people’s blogs, but I LOVE watching yours. You’re so real and fun to listen to with such great information.

Also, I was laughing to myself when you described you husband buying nice notebooks. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought fancy notebooks for diaries and such and NEVER used them! I was thinking of buying one for writing down blog ideas, but…it’s time to face facts about the likelihood of me using it. :)

Re: freezing meals: my fiance is a paramedic working 48 hour shifts, so we freeze a LOT of meals. I do try to cook leftovers (usually cook 4 portions of a given recipe) so that he has some fresh things, but I also try to keep the freezer stocked with individual portions of lasagna, soups, etc.

We’re several years off from babying it up, but my current plan is to freeze some full pans of lasagna and things, as well as lots of individual portions of other meals (we do have a spare freezer and though we’ll be moving soon, I definitely plan to have another one when we buy a house). Then rather than asking family and friends to spend their energy bringing us casseroles and things (which are bound to be really, really heavy), to ask them to spend their energy bringing us their favorite vegetable dishes and giant undressed salads and things.

I love your video of today, specially the subject of the scale, I beat myself up every time that I step in the scale, I`m trying to get back to my weight after a 10 week pregnancy miscarriage, And Every day that I get in the scales it so hard even though I see the difference in my body I feel bad that I don’t see it on the scale.!!!!
    Any ways
    Thank you!!!

    Hey Roni,

I just wanted to say that after 3-4 years of listening/reading you go on about the ‘perfection journaling’, I’ve finally stopped it within the last year or so. I was so guilty of it…especially oh i missed a day or oh my evening was so bad so I won’t write it down. Now no matter what I try to log it in. I used to journal it on paper, now I use a free app on my android phone called WW Diary. It’s good for new and old WW.

Anyways, I just wanted to say Thank you! without your help I might still be trying to be perfect.

I really love listening to these while doing my Saturday morning chores, making breakfast, etc. Thanks for focusing on so many great questions about attitude and body image. Sometimes I feel like losing weight is easy compared to learning to love your body. (And by the way, I just bought a ticket to Fitbloggin and can’t wait to hear you speak in person!)

I really understand about the perfection journaling. After many, many years of the “perfect notebook” and “perfect online journaling” I decided to go with just doing it. Not perfect because every time I messed up, I gave up and ate everything in sight. This past week I had the flu which in the past would have set me to quit again until I found the “perfect notebook”. Now, I got back on track and am feeling proud of myself for not quitting. By the way, I have about 8 “perfect notebooks” all about one quarter full. ;)

Love your videos Roni. Have you stopped marking them with where the questions break, or did that change with the change over to youtube and I never noticed? I often point out pertinent info within them when I share them.

I did. I can’t do it the same way in YouTube. I was leaving links to the start of the questions but it was so time consuming and no one seemed to be taking advantage of it.
