We aren’t ready to commit to names but I share a few that we are thinking about. :)

I love the nick name Finn. I wanted to have a baby boy so bad and name him Phinneaus and call him Finn for short. The hubby wasn’t having it and I ended up with a baby girl anyway. I love all the names on your list and I love that you have some old fashion names in there to.

My sister in law named her son “William” and he goes by “Liam”. That may be cute since it’s also your husband’s name!

Conner! Conner! Conner! I have a Conner and love the name. Consider the spelling though. I am a Speech Therapist, so I chose the phonetic spelling of “Conner”, but there is Connor, Conor, etc. Love, love, love the name. There are no shortenings or ways to make fun of it either….ha! : )

I love the name Braden (not sure how you spell it) But it’s cute :)

    I’m all for Spikey!

Seriously though you have great taste in names. I’m Ryan obviously and my boys are Collin and Brady. I love the names that are classic but not too common. Parker’s good but I know who your husband is talking about. It’s this guy (in the middle). YIKES!

So glad things are going so well Roni!

I was so excited to hear you say Braden! Our son (who will be 31 yrs old in December) is Braden Mark (middle named after his father/my husband). It was the only name we had picked for a boy. It’s much more common now, so probably won’t be mispronounced as it was when he was little.

You look great! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

    Lookin’ goooood! :)
Parker Stephenson, right? Well what about Finigan on Mr. Dress-Up, or was that not aired in the US?? (puppets called Casey & Finigan).
    HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING!

My stepdaughter and her husband (she is one week more pregnant than you…and has a much bigger belly!!) are considering Finnian and Phineaus (yes, they’re having a boy). But I think they have other ideas, as well. Of course, if it had been a girl, it was going to be Avery, 100% no doubt!

Parker was the boy’s name I wanted!!! Actually, I wanted to name our hypothetical boy Eaton Parker or Parker Eaton cause we met while working at Eat n Park. Obviously my husband immediately vetoed that one :-) I LOVE Liam though!!!

Love Brayden & Conner :) I know about 11 baby Liam’s & 4 Phinns!!! :) You could always use a runner up name for the middle name too. Happy 5 months!

I knew a family (of obvious Irish heritage) who had two sons with the names Liam and Conner. They also had a Shawn (girl), Caitlin, and Patrick. :)

Ethan and Evan are awesome suggestions from Ryan (Spikey is cute too ;)). How fun! I feel special to get to peek in at the naming process. You look great!

I love all of the names you are considering, but I really like Finn.

I love to hear about how people pick names. We never told anyone when we were pregnant, though. We had our sons name all picked out with about 1 or 2 months to go. Then my FIL expressed an interest, and suddenly that was our son’s name!

Having a Connor of my own, I’m super partial to that name ;) Parker was also on my list for baby #2, but the husband and I quickly decided that “Parker” would not go well with his older brother, Peter. I just got a good laugh at your spiderman reference! So instead, it’s Peter & Connor. Which I think go together perfectly.

I loved the “Connor” name! And I bet, I bet you already bought connornoone.com, parkernoone.com, and all the other alternatives x-noone.com LOL

I think Connor and Liam are your best two. I’m glad you like the name Francis but honestly please don’t name your child that because it is more of a girly name (think Mary Francis kind of things) Other than that one I think all of your names are incredible choices. I have a Carly and a Cameron right now (twins) and if I ever had another boy I decided on Ethan… Isaiah was my first pick but hubby said no.

Love them all, well not Finegan, but Finn yes. Finley maybe? I figured you guys would continue the “r” theme… Roni, Ryan, Riley, Rudy, Rudy, Rudy LOL

Love the names! :) Always had a thing for Ethan, so….. :) You look amazing and SO not 5 months pregnant!! :)

I just had my 3rd son. My other two sons (Quinn and Jude who are 5 and 3) wanted him to be named Aquaman because he was ‘floating’ in my belly and superheros are cool, but in the end we went with Liam. Thinking of names is so much fun. I love Finn and Finnegan. Also Dean (I couldn’t get the husband on board with Dean or Angus. In fact NO ONE but me liked Angus!)
    You look adorable! Congratulations!

1st choice of the names you gave is Parker, just love that name. Very fond of Ethan and Evan as I have a Blake Evan. Of the other names you suggested I liked Conner and Braden. Good luck with the name, it’s always a challenge agreeing with another person.

Hi Roni! You look wonderful! As for names, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ethan and Evan. My friend named her son Connor and there are FOUR other Connors in his class! So I know it is gaining popularity. My uncle was named Francis and he wasn’t too fond it — they used to call him Frannie the Nanny. :) Just my $.02. I love Parker too! I ended up having two girls, but my pick for a boy’s name was Mitchell or Evan or Ethan. So we are on the same page! My ex-husband’s middle name is Parker, and I always liked it. Either way, you just look so radiant!!

You are so darn cute! I love the names you all are throwing around. I like the newer names that are old fashioned that are coming back in style (does that make sense?) especially for girls but since you are having a boy, that really doesn’t matter. :) I loved letting my DS1 in on the name selection choices when I was pregnant w/ #2 (we didn’t know that he was a boy). It’s so fun to include them!!! What is your actual due date? I forget. :)

    Happy Thanksgiving Roni and family!

Oh and I’m totally for Liam! Or Evan totally agree with the Little Guy on this one! ;)
Excited to be kind of a part in all of this!! Thank you! You’re just awesome! (Can’t say/write this enough!! ;D )

I like the name Parker, too! That’s really cute. I have a nephew named Conner and a cousin named Liam- they’re popular names. You’re looking good! :)

    November 23, 2010

Hi Roni, I love Connor ad Liam! If you guys end up having a really tough time picking, my cousin did this…. She put each of their favorite names on a day of the month she was due and the day the baby was born was the name he got! So it was kind of like the baby chose his name. It can also be done for middle names.

So cute of names! It’s funny because we have been set on a boy name (don’t know the gender yet) for over a year, the “what if we ever got pregnant name.” Now that you said Parker, I just love that name and forgot about it:) Girls names, let me tell you they are so difficult! The same “what if we ever got pregnant name,” is overly used now. I have met 5 of them this last year:(. I guess I will worry about names starting January when we find out the sex.

    November 23, 2010

I like the little guy’s choice-Spikey! Landon’s suggestion when I was pregnant with baby girl was Jello Fellow! All of your picks are good too!

I loved the names Braden and Ethan. I just like the way those names sound when you said together with Ryan’s name together.

    Ryan & Braden
    Ryan & Ethan
have a nice ring to them.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving! :) You look beautiful!!!

I am right behind you (Due 4/24) and DH and I are planning on naming our little boy Liam Leonard. My MIL’s name is Lia and I love her so much we wanted to name the baby after her. My nickname as a little girl was Leonard (I have no idea where that came from) and DH’s middle name is Leonard.

So I really like the name Liam….Thanks for all the updates!

We have two boys. One our choices for our now 14 yr old was Liam! We decided to go with Hunter Ryan :) instead. We also have an 11 yr old named Hudson. So I’m rooting for Liam. Although Hudson seems to be much more popular now :( And it seems as though Liam is pretty popular too. You look amazing!

Love all the names, especially Spikey! My sis is due in Jan and my oldest (4) calls her baby smoke moster baby (as in LOST) although she will be a Sara. So hard to agree everyone has an opinion. Have fun and Happy Thanksgiving!

I love the name “Jack”. It is cute, it is masculine, it is out-doorsy, and I think it is great for a baby, little boy, teenager or a man!

Hi Roni. Your weight, healthy lifestyle, and fitness level are motivating me to get fit before I get pregnant for the first time. It is amazing the difference being fit can make. Thanks again, Roni.

Hey Roni! Love the name ideas. :)

Had to tell you though…One of my past students was a “Finley” and his nickname was Fin, which was really cute. And I like that name better than Finnigan. :)

My own Little Guy (5) is Liam!!! We had a girl the second time around but if she had been a boy we had chosen the name Ryan! Obviously we have similar taste in names. :) You look great!

So sorry your husband vetoed Parker – I love it. I also love Brady (and not because I am from New England or loved SATC). I am also definitely partial to Connor as well. I have a 20 month old Jack which is my #1 boy name. Though I will admit I love hearing my friends call my husband Griff, so if our last name didn’t start with that, I love Griffin.

My son name is Connor John! Love the name Connor of course. :)
No not John Connor like the terminator either! Ha, Ha.

I love all of the names you said. I have 3 boys and by the time we got to the third we were out of ideas. I loved the name Owen but could never commit to it. My sons names are Garrett, Cody, and the one who would have been Owen ended up being Porter. Once we met him we loved that we named him Porter Jameson “PJ”.

I’m kind of partial to “Aidan”…good Irish name. :-)

    Love Liam too though.

So fun. Almost makes me want to have another. Almost. ;-)

I love your name choices! When we named our youngest, not many people were happy with our choice, but it was OUR choice and it fits him(Nicholas).

And even though you feel “wider”, your face is still the same. Your are absolutely gorgeous!

Hope you had a fabulous turkey day!

Roni you look absolutely amazing!!! I love the names you have picked out. I really like Liam and, like a previous poster said, it’s part of William. Very cute.
