Note to Self…

Getting out the door is the hardest part. You know this. Strap on the shoes, bundle up and hit the gym. You know you want to. Why are you trying to talk yourself out of it?

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Umm, I agree a hundred percent. Why??! Because once I get out there, I love it. And getting out the door is the EASIEST part! But it’s the biggest obstacle?

    No accounting for logic …

I sooo needed that this morning. I love going to the gym, but getting myself and the toddler ready to go is the hard part sometimes. I WANT to go, I just have to get motivated to get out the door!

Oh yah, so true. A WW’s leader once said “the hardest part of exercise is putting on your shoes”. Haha. I agree. BUT I feel AWESOME during & after exercise…
    Silliness, eh!

Toad right, Roni and other commenters. I am just today getting over my longest hiatus from running since I started: an embarassing 2.5 weeks had gone by since I ran. My friend got me out of the funk today though, and we ran together. I looked her up later this afternoon to request that we go tomorrow, too. I feel GREAT! Getting my clothes on and out the door was the hardest part, no doubt.

I am so sad because I have to quit my gym right now : ( But I’ve started the 30 day shred, and am definitely trying to keep my own regimen at home! It is still hard for me to have the time/strength to do it during the day, so thank you for this post!

O . . . M . . . G. Just walked in the door from work, sat down on the couch and flipped on the computer while trying to decide if I really feel like doing my run and my Barbell Blast class. Now after reading this . . . I do. Damn. And Thank You. Hahaha!

I’ve just recently started going to the gym for the first time, and while I’m sure part of it is that I’m unconsciously avoiding going, part of it is just time! I’m in the middle of the last busy weeks of university where I’m working until after midnight every night and haven’t been to the gym for, oh, over a week now. Maybe closer to two weeks. Ack!

I need to make this into a t-shirt. It’s my daily battle.
