There he is. My little Ninja Turtle. :)

We had a great Halloween although I’ve been battling morning sickness all day. So my Sunday was Sensational but overall relaxing. Little guy was at a sleepover so I actually got to sleep in! That never happens. I had a slow morning but still managed to get the laundry started, kitchen cleaned up and the grocery shopping done for the week.

Once the Little Guy came home I cooked up some pizza for him and his friend (and our guests.) I attempted to make a Halloween inspired pizza with black olives and orange peppers but it’s official. I hate olives! I’ve tried to like them. I really did but I just don’t. Thankfully my friend is a fan so she enjoyed the olive slices while the kids and I stuck with the slices with just peppers. :)

After Pizza we headed out for a community parade with all the kids. It was a beautiful Halloween day. We strolled around and enjoyed looking at all the costumes.

Later, we Trick-or-treated and walked some more. Walking was really my exercise of choice this weekend especially after our trip to DC yesterday.

So that’s about it. I just didn’t have the energy or motivation to be all gung ho today but staying true to the tradition of Sensational Sundays I did my best to prepare for the week and make the most of the day.

Oh! and no Halloween candy for me. Not that I’m all motivated or anything. My tummy really just can’t handle it. Let’s just say I became very good friends with Mr. Toilet Bowl this weekend. We said hello a few times. :(

  1. Ryan looks adorable! Oh random thought…the other day my daughter saw you and ryan making the cake and she said to me “mommy, is that roni and ryan?” I was shocked at first but then I realized I’ve been a reader since she was almost 2! no wonder she notices you guys! lol she’s 4 and loves ryan, she thinks he’s hysterical.
I hope you feel better soon! morning sickness is the worst, get plenty of rest and fluids and before you know it you’ll be sneaking in the bag of candy : P

I had no idea the Ninja Turtles were still around! We had our own Ninja year here over a decade ago!

Poor Roni! ( I’ll take your share of the black olives! )
My Man-Cub (Matthew) LOVES to watch you guys! I fire up the video and he comes and sits in my lap. It’s hysterical! Especially when he calls Ryan ” Baby” (anyone under the age of 4 seems to be a baby…) He’s 2!!

  5. I admire your restraint in not indulging in the Halloween candy. Can’t say the same for myself. Still in a sugar coma this morning. Should be better by tomorrow.

    Hey Roni!
Crazy question, but do you know the name of the color of paint on your walls behind Ryan? We just built our house and I am looking for a nice orange to accent a couple walls! I love your wall color!
    Thanks,
    Sara
