I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Ahahaha!! Love it! All this time I had no idea I was on the FLORE plan!

    Thanks!!

Y’know what? That post with your review of the Momentum Plan was how I first found your blog over a year ago. Your blog was the first healthy living blog I’d ever read. I was about to start Weight Watchers At Work and I was so excited that I was googling as much as I could find on the Momentum plan, and I was directed to your review. So, I imagine thanks are in order!!

I totally agree with you about doing a class at the gym. I do spin, kickboxing, and step and I love it sooooo much. I see a lot of the same people in the classes and it nice small talk and as you said it is easier to try to do the moves and pay attention to the instructor than to walk on a treadmill. I also run and it is so great. Outside is much better than inside. I love the running because I pick the music and it is “me” time. BTW I am not the Lori who asked the question. I also think my getting fit and eating better has strengthened my marriage. DH likes to try to eat healthy and I do all the cooking so it works out for us. He also has a treat habit but he knows to hide it from me. Pretty easy since he is 6’4 and I am only 5’1. I am happier as a person which makes us happier as a couple.

Love the video and your answers to the questions!

Your blog was one of the first ones I discovered about a year ago. I had no idea there were healthy living or weight loss blogs. I was so intrigued that I decided to start my own blog and share my story.

I know just what you were talking about in the video. I try to explain it to other people and it is hard to wrap your brain around the concept of not thinking you are on a “diet”, that implies that it is something you can go off of.

When I decided to throw out the “diet” word and concept and to think of myself as living healthy it changed everything.

It all comes down to choices. Every day we make choices about how much we move our bodies and what we will eat. Some days my choices are healthier than other days but even on the days they are less healthy I don’t let those choices change that I live a healthy lifestyle. I don’t have to be 100 % perfect all the time! I just have to make healthier choices more often than I make unhealthy choices.

It stops the cycle of binge eating in preparation for the deprivation diet that starts on Monday. I wonder how many extra pounds I gained playing that game!

Thanks for your honesty and all the hard work you put into your blogs!

Love the FLORE program…make so much sense! I’m going to tell my leader she will get a kick out of it! :)

I had an off week, not so much eating wise (there was some) but off exercise and journaling…not feeling great b/c that time of month and work stress. So I didn’t push it but I will tomorrow..my first 5 K is on the 23rd. I’m so excited. I love running. I’m fairly certain I will finish. Starting off new week with weight in, run and an evening with some blogger friends.

Have a great one Roni! :)

Roni, I just wanted to tell you again that I love reading your blog and watching your videos. In fact, sometimes I just listen to your videos at work, and somehow it’s just so soothing. It feels like I’m getting advice or updates from an old friend. I always am reminded of something important or learn something interesting when I visit your site. Thanks so much for everything you do.

I am a little late with this posting but I wanted to share. I found a great way to take classes without spending a lot of money. For those of you that don’t belong to a gym but want to take exercise classes, try your local junior college. I am taking a dance class and it is costing me $35 for the class and $35 for parking. This means that I am getting 34 classes (2 classes a week for 17 weeks) for 70 bucks, basically 2 dollars a class! How cheap is that? Last semester I took pilates for the same cost! It really helps to motivate too because you see the same people and you are expected to be there. Also you can take the classes credit/no credit or even audit the classes if you don’t really care about the grade. It has really helped me to try new things and not get bored.
