I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.
However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

love. this. video.
Thank you. :)
Amazing and humbling.
I want to watch it again but I can’t cry like that again today. I had the worst headache yesterday :) Love him!
Very nice and inspiring, but it sort of makes it seem like fat = miserable and thin=happy. If you’re an unhappy fat person, being skinny isn’t going to change all of that. JMO.
what an inspiration. I think he’s found happiness in his accomplishments as opposed to his thinness…
Oh wow! That part that got me was the Ironman part. You have 17 hours to finish an Ironman and it looks like he did it in 16:48 and some change. That’s awesome…incredible!!! My DH has his sights on an Ironman…in a couple of years. That’s an awesome video!!
I agree with Valeria. For some us finding that thing that drives us and makes us happy is the life changing event. The weight loss is a side effect. Regardless, he was unhappy.. it doesn’t matter if it was because of the weight or that the weight was a side effect of it. Running helped him out of that slump.
This was awesome.
I don’t look at it that he lost weight and life is now good, but that he made changes in his life that made him feel good and that is why he is happy…not just because he is thinner. That is why I love this video so much. He made the change. And now he is an inspiration to others.
That was just …. WOW. What an awesome video/story.
Wow, so inspiring!
Thanks for making me cry at work! In all seriousness, that is truly inspirational, no excuses, just get up and do it. Thanks for sharing his story.
That is great. He started that journey with only one step, then two, then three…it was just that simple.
That brought tears to my eyes…and seriously gave me the kick in the ass that I desperately needed this week. Thank you for sharing it!
I am awestruck. It was great. I love that he crossed the finish lines with his Dad and brother. I can’t wait until my boys are older and can run with me. We did a one mile this spring and it was great!
Loved that! What an inspiration! Does anyone know the name of the song in the video? Thanks!
Thank you for sharing that link… amazing and very inspirational, expecially to a new overweight runner.

It brought me to happy tears! I was so happy for him and his story was inspirational. I love things that inspire others to be their best. Thanks Roni, it made my day.
Thank you so much for sharing. It sure has been a night of crying. While watching Biggest Loser I was catching up on “Roni” and I see this video. It’s a nice story and a great feeling and more inspiration.
OMG!!! Tears doesn´t even cover the flood that is streaming down my face right now…………..
AMAZING! And…yes…I was crying too! :) I shared it on my facebook page! What an inspiration!

Truly amazing and totally inspirational. Thank you for sharing your journey with us as well as a great piece of inspiration.
I don’t usually comment but I had to say thank you for posting this! Just to see and watch the photo process of 1 year was amazing. Makes it so doable! Great post! I think my favorite so far.
YOU had a tummy tuck!!! Why oh why would you do something like that? Do tell
Lynn – I’m not sure where this question is coming from on this post. It’s all in my archives.. This may help… http://ronisweigh.com/2008/05/choice-for-plastic-surgery-after-weight.html
