And no.. it’s NOT me. ;)

Wordless Wednesday: Guess Who?!?

So proud of the husband for trying something new today. He may not have caught a wave but he TRIED! That’s half the battle, isn’t it? :)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Nice waves!! :) gotta love trying something new! Where on the Outer Banks are you? I live near there…and my parents have a house in Corolla. Such a nice area!

That’s AWESOME! Surfing is something I’ve always wanted to do (other than the fact I sink like a rock), but it’s really hard to get nice waves on the East coast.

mmmm, makes me want to be there instead of here. North Carolina, was it?? We’re heading to the beach there around Veterans Day. Do you suppose the water will still be warm enough to go in? LOL I guessed it might be an early ultrasound pic of The Infant.

love this picture roni! way to go husband! i feel we get to know him a bit vicariously here and i’m a fan. sending totally cool surfer vibes his way!!!
also, we’re at the jersey shore – don’t know where you guys go but we’re in seaside park – i am loving the ocean, plus boardwalk rides – the first year my 2 year old knows what’s up and she is crazy for the carousel :-) anyway as you know the pizza slices are HUGE at the shore and the zeppoles amazing – i am thinking of you as i try for balance and moderation – this morning i prepared a great and heathy cabbage slaw to have ready for our lunch – still excited for chicken parm tonight and more zeppoles (yay!) because we’re here to enjoy, but budgeting this way does not at all feel like deprivation. here’s to vacation – happy summer to all!

I agree! It’s better to try it.

Have a great weekend Roni. Awesome picture!

The closest I ever came to surfing was water-skiing. I was just too damn ig’nant to let go of the rope, and they just repeatedly dragged my then-skinny bum around the water screaming ‘LET GO!!!!”. Alas, another failed venture a professional athlete. ;)
