Did shoving cheese slices in your mouth while packing the lunches make you feel any better?

I didn’t think so.

I seriously understand how you feel here. It is hard to really pay attention to your body when you mindlessly eat. Ugggh sometimes I wonder…does it get any better than this?

Oh Roni, I am right there with you. I always sneak a slice of cheese or two or three in when making dinner. It is a terrible awful habit. But I just can not help myself. I am a cheese addict!

Those cheese slices just roll right in, and you just gotta roll with it ;)

OMG I do this stuff all the time. This morning I was brave and put the extra slice that came out of the package on my sandwich instead. HAHA!

Totally guilty! I don’t even LIKE them! Then I think of how STUPID it was and how much REAL food I could have had instead!

For me it was granola today, but I feel your pain. Next time, I will put it on a plate and just enjoy it.

I have recently cut way back on dairy and I honestly miss it, but I know for my body it is not good for me. But there are times I will treat myself. It usually ends up being a slice of cheese pizza or some feta in a sandwich.I just allow myself to be human. Sometimes we just have to give in a little.

this is why i cant keep cheese in my house like that, because i do the same thing. Its seriously a weakness for me and even the low fat kind is bad for you in the quantities I would like to eat it. I feel your pain Roni. <3

So glad I don’t have to pack lunches for anyone cause I would likely fall pray to that. I love me some cheese! ;)

I’m right there with you, except I don’t eat cheese slices, I eat a couple extra cherries, or carrot sticks or whatever. I know they are healthy, but they do add up.

Soooo glad to hear that I’m not the only one who struggles with this! In my case, it’s sneaking nibbles of baby carrots, nuts, etc., as I pack the next day’s breakfast and lunch in the evening. Sounds harmless, but I’m sure it adds up. I’d rather be spending those calories more mindfully.

It always seems like it is after I have brushed my teeth in the morning when I am making the sandwiches that I eat the cheese??? or Peanut butter on a spoon!!!

Yeah….I have to remind myself that secretly munching on food while cooking STILL HAS CALORIES! It’s hard. :(
