Oh my word… I have so much going on I haven’t even been able to wrap my head around the fact that I’m leaving for New York City in 2 days for the BlogHer Conference!

I am speaking this year making it even doubly exciting plus…. I get to travel there in style with a ton of other local bloggers thanks to Lara of ChickenNuggetsOfWisdom, Amy the ResourcefulMommy and Hershey. You know “Hershey”.. the CHOCOLATE people! Not only where they nice enough to cover my travel to and from the conference they shipped me a sinful S’more gift pack.

Even as a Weight Loss Blogger I can appreciate a good S’more! I’m actually hoping to record a video for GreenLiteBites of Little Guy and I making them in the oven. We perfected out technique this weekend. Me, of course, making them just a wee bit lighter. ;)

Anyway, I thought I’d do a little brain dump of all things BlogHer so I can get my head on straight.

Train leaves bright and early! Arrive in NYC… only my favorite place on earth! Thursday afternoon I’ll be taking the subway to Brooklyn to visit some relatives.

I’ll be up bright and early to run the BlogHer 5k! I’m doing the Broadway route and couldn’t be more excited to run the streets of Manhattan. I need to give a big shout out to Shannon for organizing the event. I don’t have a tutu but be aware the run is a charity event.

After the run I’ll be stopping by the S’mores Snacktivity Suite at the Hilton around 10AM to say thanks for the ride. ;) Join me if you can! They’ll be in the Hilton Suite 4233 August 6 & 7 from 10AM to 6PM.

A couple of the sessions of the day I don’t want to miss are…

Friday night I’m heading to the Unilever cocktail party at The Royalton Hotel. And yes I’m going to dress up… I can’t believe it, but I am.

More sessions I don’t want to miss….

I’m planning on ending the day with a drink at the Lobby Lounge around 6:30 if anyone would like to join me. It’s small… low key.. and I get to people watch! ;) Other then that I have NO other agenda items and NO crazy parties I’m planning on attending. I like to go with the flow and see where the night will take me.

I’ll be running 6 miles around the Central Park loop. SO excited! As I need to run 6 for my marathon training and I love that fact that I get to run it in the city in the park. If you’d like to join me give a shout out in the comments. I’ll also be posting about this on my weight loss blog. (note: the loop is 5 but I’ll be tracking 6 on my Nike+)

After that I hop back on the S’more train and head on home. I have a feeling I’m going to be EXHAUSTED!

So…. Who else is going?

Note: As part of the S’mores Road Trip to BlogHer I received a round trip ticket on Amtrak to the convention and Hershey branded items. Any views expressed in this post are my own.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.
