Sorry I’ve been slacking in the workout play list department. Here’s what I’m currently listening to on my runs. The songs are in order from longest to shortest but I normally have it on shuffle. The totally running time is 1 hour…

All links will open in iTunes.
The list goes: song title – album by artist.

Any new music your listening to that you’d like to share? I always love mixing it up!

I’ve been enjoying the Where the Wild Things are soundtrack for driving around town. Lately I added Lily Allen and Lady Gaga to my runnings mixes and it’s been good.

I like to listen to Motion Traxx podcasts when I work out. It’s not music I recognize but it’s pretty good for plugging through the workout with a good beat.

  9. I love the song Sho Nuf by Fat Boy Slim — not a ton of words but a great, energizing beat.

  10. thanks for sharing Roni, i’m in desperate need of some fresh tunes and will gladly steal a few.

some of my favorites right now are Dirt Off My Shoulder – Jay Z, and Carry out – Timbaland ft. Justin Timberlake. i know for myself, the key is to find rhythms i can perfectly match my strides with. (btw, did you know the most efficent number of strides per minute is 180? as in for everyone, no matter what your height. just a bit of trivia i thought i’d pass along :)

  11. Sara says:

if you go to facebook and look up this app called ‘free on itunes’ they have a couple of music samplers you can download for free. there’s a latin alternative sampler that has a few of the songs that i suggested and they’re free, which is always awesome! they have other music too.

  13. Missy says:

My latest fave for when I need that final “boost” is “Not Afraid” by Eminem… speaks to me. Not kid-friendly, but I love it :-)

  14. Lindsay says:

I am obsessed with a song right now that makes me feel empowered. It’s by Nina Simone called “I ain’t got no….I got life” Love love love that song. I could listen to it a million times in a row. Oh and I like Rhiana’s Rude Boy. It is kind of crude but it has a great beat when you are on the treadmill.

  15. roni says:

LOVE “I ain’t got no….I got life” Lindsay! Thanks for sharing.

  16. roni says:
