I’m asumming it’s a water ballon fight? God, I hope it’s a water ballon fight. Because from the first pic, it seems like Bill spit in his hand and throw the spit at your face :$

    Aww!

The sprinklers on campus where I work are beckoning me to come and play. Unfortunately I’m not sure my boss would appreciate me coming into the office with wet clothes…

The Little Man is having a great time, nearly as much as the Big Man!

    Congratulations on the weight loss!

SO…your family is freaking adorable. Why don’t you just move to good old Kansas and I’ll babysit for free and we can do our morning runs together and I’ll live vicariously through your cute little family until I manage to snag a winner for myself ;)

When I was in camp, SPIT was kind of like the basketball game HORSE. when you get tagged you get a letter, when your letters spell out S P I T you loose

    Yup! That’s it!

    Here’s how to play…

You need at least 3 players and one ball you don’t mind getting hit with.

    Stand in a circle.

The person “it” throws the ball up and yells out the name of one of the other players.

Everyone starts to run away as fast as they can except for the person whose name was called. He/she has to catch the ball. When they do they yell “SPIT!” and all the other players must stop running right where they are.

If the person with the ball caught it without a bounce he/she get’s to take 4 steps towards any direction trying to get closer to one of the other players. If it bounced once they get 3 steps, bounced twice, 2 steps and so on.

Then the person tries to hit another player with the ball. If they succeed the person they hit gets an “S”. If the person with the ball misses, then they get the “S”.

The person whose name was called is now “It” and you repeat the game. If you got an “S” last time, now you get a “P”. Once you’ve gotten all 4 letters in the word “SPIT” you’re out. The last person left wins.

We don’t really bother spelling SPIT out and just keep playing but with more kids I can see it being fun. With only 3 of us it’s kinda hard.

This is Little Guy’s favorite game right now and we have been having a blast playing it. Nothing like a fun way to get your activity it! :)

    Love that game!

    Looks like great family fun.

I wish we could send you some of the Midwest rain so you wouldn’t have to run your sprinkler! Our grass and everything else, is very green and wet right now!

First time hearing of the game, but it sure looks like fun. I think I’ll introduce it at our family reunion at the end of this month. It should be a lot of fun.
