I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

do you find that when you’re dieting that you snack a lot? It’s something that I realised when I was being ‘on top of my points’. I was scared of eating a ‘big’ meal. I just have noticed snacks a lot in your food journals..neither good nor bad. It just is an observation. Just wondering what your thoughts are on that. Get to the bottom of that binge. What REALLY triggered it…?

No guilt. No regrets. No punishing yourself. I like that. Think I’m going to make a poster for my wall.

I don’t think Roni “diets” anymore. But I do, and yes when you fall off the wagon at dieting, you fell big time :( But yeah, no regrets, That’s the secret. Well, a little regret, so you don’t do it again tomorrow, but no beating yourslef up about it. We already do better than most.

I agree with Michelle. For years I had this binge eating disorder that I discovered was really connected to my loneliness and self-loathing. I would binge for other reasons too, but very often it was triggered when I didn’t allow myself to hang out with friends, used it as a “relaxing” activity when I was very busy, or for other subconscious feelings I was trying to numb. Now that I’ve mostly recovered, I am no longer obsessive about my diet and food binging is much less of a problem for me. I encourage you to find your reason! I am so much happier without “bottomless pit” eating on my conscience.

I really don’t “diet” anymore, Reinaldo is right. This is just how I eat. I do have big meals now and then but more often I’m grazing through my day. This stay happened to be snacktastic. :)

I blame the cookie! The cookie led to the pudding and the pudding led to the chocolate…

Bad cookie. How could you do that to Roni?

No guilt and no regrets is a great approach. It all comes down to choices and some days our choices are better than others.

I have found for myself that the more real food I eat meaning fruits, yogurt, veggies , whole grains, lean proteins the less I have cravings. I bet it was that cookie. That would be a trigger for me if eaten on an empty tummy.
