One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Development Underway!

I’m working on a new theme for and have fallen in love with the Sandbox theme for WordPress.

Normally I go on a hunt for a clean, simple theme as a starting point and then customize what I what. Each of my sites started with a different theme and I have learned tons using that approach. But I’m ready to upgrade to something more efficient. I’m tired of conforming to different themes with different selectors and different functions.

Sandbox isn’t theme for those that don’t want to touch any code. Minimally you will be writing all your own CSS for layout and style. Unless you truly want a minimalist look. Sandbox supports child themes and it allows you to make edits/additions without touching the core files of the theme.

So if you are looking to learn more about custom WordPress theme design/development I’d give Sandbox a shot. I’m actually disappointed I didn’t use it for all my sites.

You download and learn more about it by clicking here.

oh! and a big thanks to Jim Doran for recommending it. :)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.
