Note to Self (with a pat on the back for hubby)…

You can’t do it all. You simply can not. Something’s gotta give. You need sleep.

Good job snapping back from the wedding weekend. You started off the week with an early morning run and kicked butt on the food front.

And YES that man that asked if you wanted to run after work is the same man you married. I know.. shocking! Maybe your healthy example is FINALLY starting to pay off after all these years.

Let’s put this run/walk into the history books as "The Husband’s First Step". :)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. You are an amazing example for your family and everyone around you!

    Awe YAY hubby :)

Do you find the Nike+ is accurate in how it calculates your mileage?

OMG! Wasn’t it just a few posts ago I commented that your next goal should be to get the husband involved?? Am-a-zing! So happy for both of you!!!!

I love that your husband ran with you! I think the best way to influence family and friends is by example – no sense in pushing people to eat healthy and exercise – it really doesn’t work. It will be fun to work out together sometimes.

I was about to take my bus ride back home from work when I just open tweetdeck – just for s***ts and giggles ;-) – and read your twitt… and I almost fainted also LOL As a lot of people who reads you from way back, this is a milestone! A little scary though, the earthquakes, the volcanos erupting and stopping airplaines, the Greek crisis AND NOW THIS! It’s Armaggeddon or what! LMAO So tell me, but tell me the truth, what felt better? The fact he actually joined you – or the way you could totally could kick his butt at running LOL
I know if my wife – if I had one- wakes up early to run while I just keep sleeping, I would look up to her. But after actually trying it, I bet he’s like “And she runs 2x faster than this, for like half an hour, at 5 AM? And she did the marathon? And the huge conference last month? Am I married to WonderWoman or what?!?!?!”

and Im so glad you had such a great weekend on top of it all.

It’s funny, I started running right around the time that you did, although I never felt the need to run more than a 5k. But I totally got my then fiance to start doing it too, and now it’s something we do, if not together, at least commiserate in misery at how awful yet wonderful it is.

Wonderful! Tell him to keep going, he is filling up his old age health account! Good job indeed!

    Yay, go Roni & Bill!

I was shocked when Hunni asked me if he could run with me. He did it for a long time and then discovered his own fitness passion…biking. Healthy habits really to rub off.

Reinaldo – Truth… I’m just glad he’s trying. I worry about his health. However.. there was a tinge of.. I could totally smoke you right now. ;)

Yay, Roni’s Hubby!!! Way to get out there!!!

What a great shock! Did you keep a straight face while you got ready to run?

A few weeks ago my husband asked me if we should make May a “No Eating Out” month. HUGE SHOCK! But we started early and now we’re on day 21 of no eating out.

You are an amazing example and clearly it’s rubbing off on your hubby. Go hubby!

Thanks for the reassurance. I’m still longing for the day the husband asks if I want to go on a run! :)

First off – I love the pictures at the top of the page now! So fun, and happy, and inspiring :)

I was shocked the other day when my hubs said he would go walking for me….maybe spring is working to get him more active too. Good job for your husband – that is awesome!
