Do NOT take the whole bag of snacks to the office. You know you have a portion control issue. Now get back to work! You got a bug to figure out.

Oh! and good job today. You did something scary but it was the honest and right thing to do.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Talking to yourself is so productive, don’t ya think!! Are those good? I almost bought them yesterday but wasn’t sure, also ever try the dried string beans from Trader Joes? On the fence on those too!

I agree!! I see people that keep a jar of peanut butter in their drawer. I know personally I couldn’t handle that and that jar would be done by the end of the work week if not sooner

Deanna – They are good! Perfect for the little guys lunchbox. As for the string beans I haven’t tried Trader joes but I have tried others.. tasty too!

Amanda – My co-worker does that! I don’t understand how she doesn’t eat it until it’s gone. I don’t think I could stop myself!

Great message. I personally need to pre-portion things out and only take what I need for the day to work. Anymore and I’ll end up eating it all.

I keep a huge costco sized jar of peanut butter in my drawer for mixing in my oatmeal when I run out of fruit.

I was worried about the portion control stuff too, but honestly when I have the drawer shut tight and keep myself busy I forget it’s in there!

Yep, I’d rather not have food around me than “trying” to portion it. Sometimes it just can’t be done.

I’m had to start putting portions into little baggies right when I get home from the grocery store for my favorite foods. I’m just too tempted to eat the whole thing.

Those Snapea Crisps are sooo good and sooo addicting! I hear you on the portion control!

Wow! Your eyes are insanely blue! :)

I have to portion snacks or I go WAY overboard too. I also talk to myself…sometimes I even answer and that’s probably a problem. :)

I was on the fence whether to buy those or not. Now I know and they are now on my list.
BTW…your eyes are sooo blue! I am sure you know that but the picture really highlights them.
Now put that bag down and get back to work – hee hee

I feel that way with pita chips! I have to portion them into a baggie so that I don’t keep digging…and digging…to crumbs ;)

Hope you figure out the bug!

No control for me either. I have not tried these but love the veggie chips sold in bulk at Whole Foods. Yum:)

OMG, those things are like crack! I will eat the whole bag in one sitting, then lick it when I’m through. A trigger food fo’sho!

Thanks for the compliment guys but seriously… I don’t think my eyes are that blue. It’s just this web cam. :)

    You are so DARN ADORABLE.

I can’t even buy those things. They’d be gone in an hour. Pathetic but true. ;-)

Oh those things are sooo yummy, they are sort of like my chocolate. I’m only allowed to get them once in awhile because there is just no way for me to eat just a little, I’m lucky if the bag lasts the whole day instead of just one sitting. :)

    April 29, 2010

Tarin – lol sorry… THANKFULLY it wasn’t a full bag. But after I wrote the note I put them away. Then I finished the bag after lunch. :)

Roni, you are right about portion control. The more that you have around you, the more you will eat.
    I lost over 80 pounds!

Roni, I think Tarin was asking what did you do regarding “something scary but it was the honest and right thing to do.”! Curious, but understand if it’s private of coarse.

I think you nailed the don’t bring in a snack you can’t live with angle! I just found out about your blog – We are kindred spirits although I’m a decade older – LOL! I too used common sense and changed 1 habit at a time to lose almost 80 pounds. And as a mom of 6 kids (no typo) it was no ‘small order’. Thanks for your blog!
