I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I think your idea for the new way to do the Ask Roni questions sounds good. I would definitely enjoy listening. And it doesn’t work out the way you wanted, you can always go back.

I am also a four year maintainer and am wired for pts. I too figure my pts the same way. I will figure sandwiches by ingredient not by total calories but I do round up for the misc. When I make a recipe I make columns on a paper and list everything out with the NI and then divide out how much it made sometimes I will even weigh it rather than measure. I like this approach with things like pasta dishes and such then I don’t over stuff my measuring cup. Great ask Roni.

I absolutely LOVE you! I just found out that I’m pregnant (I can’t believe I’m telling the blog world this before most of my family even knows), and I’ve been wondering about what I should and shouldn’t be eating. I’m so afraid that I’m going to gain back the 70 pounds I lost during weight watchers, and I know that I can’t be in that kind of mindset now that I’m pregnant. Your answer to the question made so much sense to me, and I really appreciate it.

Thanks so much for all you do-you are the best!

I don’t think you were babbling! Lots of good information.
For those with access to the WW site, use the recipe builder, its great throw all the ingredients in and find out per serving points. Or change the ingredients and/or servings to come up with the points you want it to be. Like Roni I count things like bread per meal not through out the day, but I do have a friend who counts the whole for the day, she lost 80 pounds last year and for her as she got to lower points targets having to total her bread for the day deterred her from a 3rd or 4th slice.
As someone working on getting pregnant thank you for your very sensible approach to pregnancy eating, sounds very reasonable especially as I am not at goal yet. And I agree that the blogging community provides a great sense of motivation and having a blog starts to make you motivate not just for yourself but for others when your own personal motivation might be low.
Thanks again for all your inspiration Roni.

I LOVE the color of your walls!!! Sorry, I know that’s totally unrelated but I’m a bit obsessed with color. Yeah, it’s about as much of an issue for me as eating. Would you be willing to share the color name and paint maker? :-)

The issue about being overconfident really hit home. I’m also in that comfort zone right now. Which is awful because I’m nowhere close to the fitness level I want to achieve. Just because I’m starting to run for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week is not an excuse to not cross-train and be more fit and active. I guess I just have to be motivated. And the attitude! I shouldn’t forget about that.

Had RNY gastric bypass weight loss surgery on March 2009. It wasn’t an easy decision but the right one for me. I still have a lot of the same questions and concerns that a lot of your readers have, and still have to be consistent on my post surgery nutrition and supplements. So far, am glad to have made the decision.

I am new at your site and I really love it! I’m always tired or have some other excuse. After watching your motivation video I finally see what I have to do. (I already new ofcourse but didn’t want to see it) I now have courage to begin again and hopefully I will lose weight. Thanks for inspiring me!

A plea for people to think about the ethics of buying maternity clothes. Let’s face it, if you’re going to bring a child on this planet, it’s only right to make sure the planet is in a good state! Therefore please try and consider, for example, the cloth the clothes are manufactured from, the conditions of the employees where they’re manufactured and the green credentials of the clothes retailer. Oh, and endeavour to share, rather than discarding. Thanks!!!!
