In October it was to workout everyday. I worked out more than ever--only missing 3 days. November I didn't really have a goal. This month it's to do cardio for 350 minutes, each week.

I feel like you always say exactly what I need to hear. I've been pretty down on myself lately, and unfortunately it leads to a massive intake of sweets. My husband is always telling me that I'm too hard on myself, which I know I am.

My new years resolution, nothing to do with weight. I will start going to church again, and volunteering more often. Doing those things always made me feel better. Hopefully that will help me see that there is more to me than appearance.

ohhhhh what a great blog! a good quote about waiting until tomorrow "When it comes to eating right and exercising, there is no "I'll start tomorrow." Tomorrow is disease." ... I am sooooo into the on/off, good/bad, all in/all out, go/stop mentality... if I screw up one little bit, it's like an excuse to binge... you know what I want? to have a normal relationship with food... that's it... my resolution for December? MOVE MORE and make something fresh and new to eat every once in a while... Blog on!

My resolution this month is to track what I eat, no matter what. Even if I eat something unplanned or I am already over my points for the day/week.

It certainly took me many years to throw perfection out the window. But I have and it feels amazing! As for my New Month's Resolution, I have a few that I always make a point to renew.

1. No Red Meat.
2. More Water.
3. Sleep Early, Wake Up Early.
4. Move that Body! Exercise!
5. Love Myself. This is my favorite.

Hi Roni, Great post! I agree that there is no reason to wait until New Year's to make a resolution. I also love your notion of forget perfection. It's striking how many of the comments are from people beating themselves up from frustration or for not being perfect. Maybe that's a resolution. Go with good enough. Just wanted to share also that we are launching a new site, Resolution Velcro, which helps people make their resolutions stick. We'll go live Jan 1, of course, but are in soft launch mode right now. Check us out!

Once that mindset really kicked in I realized that I could lose the weight and did.

For me for the new month:

- I want to run even though its going to get crazy.
- I want to continue with my PT exercises after I finish my hip rehab.
- I want to get back on a regular sleep schedule.
- I want to set time limits on work and the internet to spend precious time with Hunni.
