Note to Self…
October 25, 2009
One bottomless pit, eat everything in sight, sugar laden weekend is NOT the end of the world. Appreciate the time you with the family this weekend. Pat yourself on the back for making a big batch of chili for lunches all week. Breath a sigh of relief that your house is becoming a home. Be thankful for the healthy body you do have. And finally, take a deep breath and enjoy the beauty of fall…

My new backyard. :)

It is important to be conscious of those good things instead of the “bad.” Sometimes we all need to remind ourselves of that :-)

I so needed this after this weekend…I totally agree! Glad to know I’m not the only one feeling that way tonight. (well I didn’t make chili but you get the idea) One weekend of craziness will not hurt me in the long run if I get right back to my healthy habits ASAP!

Wow, what a gorgeous back yard you have. I am crazy for all the wonderful colors. Yes, despite indulging over the weekend, we do have so much more to be thankful as you so brilliantly said in your post.

TB - actually they do. I think it’s the conscious act of forcing myself to recognize what I did, accept it and move on. Instead of letting it linger in my brain while I continue down a path of unhealthy choices.

*so jealous* Here in ND we got a hard frost early so no beautiful colors this fall…just ugly dead leaves. Enjoy it for me! :)
