Not sure if it’s because of my history, my emotional state or the fact that I’m the biggest sap in the world but this video that MamaV posted on WeAreTheRealDeal got to me. I had a tear. Understatement… I was bawling at my desk…

Love the video because this was just what I needed right now. But the tears only started coming with the last sentence “not someone else’s”, before it was rather a smile-jerker because this little girl is so adorable and positive, and she makes it simple again by wrapping all the adult complicated thoughts we have in that simple message.

Bloody Hell! That video really sends a message, thanks for posting it. I must admit I got a bit of a lump in my throat towards the end.
We all know that we shouldn’t compare ourselves to others and we need to love ourselves for who we are but we just don’t seem to believe it. Then you hear it from a little kid and think, “Yeah, she’s right!”
Think I’ll be watching that clip a few times over :)
