Hey Roni,
That first question was mine. Yay, I’m famous :) I gave up on the 133 number. It was too frustrating and it really didn’t make a difference. I am now about 140 depending on the day and I have settled on that is where my body wants to be. I was scale dependent in that I had an (unhealthy) obession with the scale. I would do it every day (sometimes twice a day-I know I was crazy!). I now weigh about 2x a month. Just to see. I don’t let it get to me anymore. Thanks for getting to my question. I still read your blog all the time and get excited when you have new “Ask Roni” videos! Thanks again :)

I love what you had to say about finding your weight goal. My body has really settled around a weight that was higher than the range for WW and after talking with my leader and doctor we determined to set it higher than the range and if I continued to lose that would be okay but I could reach goal.

Awesome video post!!
I totally get when you were describing how sometimes you just have to put as much in your mouth as quickly as possible sometimes..a binge. It’s become a problem for me the last year and I think I can tie it to stress and anxiety.
LOVED your idea about the eating a butternut squash..most of the time it’s not about what I’m eating but just that I want to eat alot..I get it!! Thanks for the healthy idea to channel the energy to at least eat something healthy! It’s so bizarre how our bodies react to stress.

OMG Roni, I can totally relate to the stress eating question! I am stressed out now and I have been wanting to eat eat eat!! I had a few days where I ate horrible foods without abandon. But afterward I felt so crappy and it totally wasn’t worth it. The funny thing is that I decided that squash would be my alternative also. I am totally making butternut squash!
I needed this Ask Roni today. Thanks so much and welcome back! Its great seeing you handling stress because I am in the same place right now.
BTW – I made WW goal a couple of months back and I have been having a hard time staying at my goal weight. (my body is comfortable right above the goal weight :( )

Roni, I have to say the BEST Ask Roni’s are the ones where you get a little misty eyed. It a sign you’re really uncovering something, and it means so much to you that you’re able to share that. So DON’T feel bad when you start getting a little emotional; it’s such a great reminder that someone else has been through the painful emotions so many of us are dealing with at this very moment.

You do an amazing job of remembering how you “used to” think before you have completely changed your life. That is not easy to do and lately I am finding it harder and harder to distinguish how I approached things when I started vs. how I do now.
Great job, fantastic video post and I hope you are feeling better soon. I have one of those machines and it’s called a “TENS” machine (if it’s the same as mine). Careful about using them for too long at a time though ;-)

Thanks Roni for answering my question about binge eating. I still struggle with it and am seeking professional help to deal with it.
BTW I just rediscovered butternut squash and look forward to making your fries with it.
