  1. Totally excited about the FitBloggin’ schedule! It looks awesome!

  2. I too am very excited about the FitBloggin event. I have wanted to attend a blog event for a long time and this one sounds like the perfect one to attend! Thanks for putting it together!!

  3. I’m going to read about the food industry! I just finished David Kessler’s book “The End To Overeating.” Even after having a large weight loss myself, it was still fascinating to read – complex but fascinating.

Wow, I really need to read David Kessler’s book. It’s been recommended by both you and Lynn now, so that makes it official! It’s truly horrifying that our country allows these practices to take place. It’s almost comical that we’ve created a virtually unregulated food industry that does everything it can to create the most unhealthy, fattening foods possible, then we’re scratching our heads as to why we have an obesity epidemic. It’s disgusting.

I love the concept of Intuitive Eating, but I am really nervous to commit 100% to it. I tried it in the past, but after the first few induling meals, I freaked out and went back to counting points on Weight Watchers. Intuitive Eating is something that sounds so healthy and so…well….natural. I hope to adapt this mindset some day!

Thanks for the mention, dear! As you know, I think FitBloggin’ sounds fabulous and I’m mucho-impressed that you took this upon yourself to put together. :)

  7. You are such a rock star! Schedule!! woo hoo! I’m totally fired up! So many good links to check out. You are rubbing off on me a bit ;) but those dang dishes are back again!

  8. Cindy says:

Anne, intuitive eating is rough for a lot of people new to it. It took me 3 separate tries before I was able to commit to it for longer than a month. I eventually stopped, but I loved it and stuck with it for about 2 1/2 months.
