One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Note to Self…

4 Comments 965 views

Never… EVER… do this to yourself again. Too much on your plate in an understatement. In the middle of building a new house involving a long temporary move, starting a new full time job and raising a 4 year old you decide to take on a new blogging project that involves writing posts for someone else, committed to speaking at two different sessions at the BlogHer conference (one of which is turning into more work then you realized), organizing your own conference, training for a marathon, maintaining your own 4 web sites AND in the middle of it all you take a week long vacation.

Take a deep breath. Focus on one task at a time. Fill your body with healthy food for fuel (NOT THE JUNK YOU HAVE BEEN EATING) and put one foot in front of the other. You will get done what you get done and that’s all there is to it.

Now go… have FUN with everything. Life is what you make of it… remember that.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Welcome back! You can do it. You are right to fill up on the healthy food for strength and then put one foot in front of the other. You will be back to your normal juggling of life before you know it. So true that life is what you make of it!!

Sometimes standing back and looking at everything that is going on is NOT the best plan of attack. Sometimes you gotta just do the thing that is right in front of you. Then move onto the next and so on…Taking a step back and evaluating can be just plain scary at times.

    Nevertheless…good luck-you’ll need it.

    Welcome home!!

I love reading your blog because I swear you seemed to be mirroring my life in so many ways. In CA right now, packing for our flight to DC. 2.5 weeks of eating crap, not exercising, dealing with grandparents and now spoiled kids. Oh and hubby is out of the country until the end of the month. lovely.

I’m overwhelmed just thinking about what I need to do on the late night drive home tonight just to have something for breakfast tomorrow. aaack.

So here is my foot going in front of the other … :) lemme know if you want to brainstorm/bounce ideas!

btw… here is my “HA!” post too:

Good plan, thinking about all fo that might make you go insane. Do small steps, ask for help, and nelegate if at all possible. Keep strong and know you can do it!
