Wordless Wednesday – Breakfast for Two :)
June 24, 2009

Ok, so just a FEW words… these shots were taken this morning before I left for work. The waffles were pulled from the freezer, I made them with homemade Banana Pancake batter a few days ago. The melon is our Santa Clause melon from this weeks video and I threw in a hard boiled egg (made like this) for protein. See… breakfast can be healthy AND fast EVEN though the house is a mess and half of your belongings are boxed up and in the living room. Let’s just hope I can only keep this up! I don’t want to turn to the dark side and hit the Dunkin’ Donuts drive through like the husband. His breakfast of choice… 3 chocolate frosted donuts… ugh! how come he’s not 300 lbs?!? ;~P

Looks yummy. I don’t understand how some people can eat donuts for breakfast and not weigh a ton. Seems unfair, lol.

If that’s your fast, quick, throw it on the table breakfast, I’d like to come live at your house! Even when we have company, I rarely cook breakfast, but offer lots of good healthy cereal choices!!! I guess at least I don’t offer them donuts – right?

Your breakfast looks great, and it’s awesome that your son eats so well. If I ate like me husband I would be like 500 pounds by now.

I really like the breakfast you have. So when you made the waffles afterwards you just freezed them. How long would they stay like that? I am so impressed what else do you make like that and freeze?

I always freeze all my leftovers no matter what they are. For breakfast it’s pancakes and waffles mostly. I’ve had them in the freezer for a few months with no ill effects.

That looks so GOOD! Good job keeping up the healthy choices despite the chaos. Just goes to show that preparation and planning in advance have huge benefits!

I’m always joking with my boyfriend’s family at get-togethers that the more he eats, the more his metabolism kicks in. It could be an entire tub of ice cream, and the scale MIGHT be up 1lb the next day, but he bounces right back. NOT FAIR!!
