Soggy Sassy Sunday in Scenes
May 3, 2009
Tired tonight but I wanted to post a quick update.
The day started with a short run that was suppose to be a long run but I just didn’t have it in me. It took all of my energy to even go out in the rain and once I got there I had ZERO motivation to run. So I did what I could vowing the my 7 miles will be ran tomorrow morning.
After the run I ran to get a haircut. Nothing too drastic just cut a few inches off. It was getting a little ratty.

After the cut I recorded a podcast (should be able to get it up in the next few days) and then it was off to the kitchen for some yummy experiments with almond milk.
That’s about it from me today. I feel a bit blah, I think it’s a combination of gloomy weather and hormones. Nice, right?
I didn’t keep a food journal but I should have. I’m committing to it for this week. I’ve been slacking again. Tomorrow will be better. :)

Super duper cute hair. It looks so good on you. I have my almonds soaking right now. I am so excited to make my own almond milk. The almond balls look amazing as well.

The haircut looks great. I have always wanted that style, but my hair is curly!
I bought choco soy milk the other day, and tried it with grape nuts. YUM!

Love the hair!! Completely understand the “blah” feeling. I’ve been in a funk all weekend. Hoping that will end today.
I have to ask… in the photo of your hair… Is the picture on the wall and door backwards?

feeling blah here too. Too many rainy days in a row I think. Love the hair.
“Tomorrow will be better.” My son said the same thing to me last night. We had a rough night –too many berry muffins? ;) He knew I was tired, blah and frustrated.
Can’t wait to find out more about your almond milk. sounds yummy.

I’ve been in a funk with all this darn rain! I’m totally ready for sun. Way to go for running outside at all. I attempted a 5K this morning, but only got halfway because I was at the same motivation level. We’ll get through the funk and back to our running selves soon enough. Hang in there and enjoy that awesome haircut!!
