For the Local H song try searching for Copasetic. I think that might be the same song.
I love Peter Bjorn and John and Vampire Weekend! Awesome mix! Good luck tomorrow! :)
There are too many songs on there I don’t know, but all the luck tomorrow!
Great playlist. Good luck tomorrow!!!
Awesome mix, good luck with the race!
have fun and enjoy it. when I ran the race every Km was 10lbs that I had lost. It kept me going. Have you ever done that before?
Best of luck to you Roni!
Any list that includes the Backyardigans is a good list to me… even though my personal fave is Secret Agents :)
GL!
Run strong! You will kick some serious butt :)
Thanks for the list
Roni Good Luck! You will do great!
I love your playlist, I especially love the Backyardigans pick!
I need to add this one to my playlist, it would make my kids proud!
Please post a full list comprised of everyone’s responses. My next half is in August (yeah, in Texas!!) and my iPod inspiration is TIRED. iTunes has some recommendations as does NikePlus, but they don’t really suit my needs. Everyone has a song that gets em movin, I’d love to see what everyone else’s are.
Have a great race. Hope to see you there!
(I’ll be wearing a blue and white print skirt and a white “Annapolis Running Shop” shirt that says “Kick ARS” on the back … though, there will probably be quite a few of us in those tanks!)
good Luck!!!
Good luck today! (I’m in Australia and it’s sunday here already) I’m an aspiring runner (I’m only at 3km at the moment) and I think it’s pretty amazing that you’ve gone from not running to doing a half marathon!
Thanks for posting your list, I’m always looking for some new stuff to listen to! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR RACE!
Good luck Roni! We are cheering you on …. to your FULL marathon soon!
oooh good luck roni! have fun :)
“Mr Roboto by Styx”. Roni, this is why I love your blog :) Have a great race!
Good luck and have tons of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The title of the Local H song is Bound for the floor.
Roni, I live in Annapolis and just found out about the Zooma organization the other day. Wondering if you have any thoughts on the 10K vs. the half marathon – besides the obvious mileage difference do you think one’s better than the other for a “new to running and not all that good at it” runner. Thanks for the help. Alana
The routes were almost identical except at the 10k mid-way point the half runners kept going. lol Honestly, I wasn’t too too impressed with that race. It was hard to get to, parking was a pain, and they were really rude to my family when my son tried to get a bottle of water. However, I did like that run because it was part road and then went into a paved trail in the woods. Very scenic.
