That’s great that you were able to go for a run in less then ideal weather. I have to admit, I’m a fair weather runner. Fair weather as in 80 degrees and sunny. Pretty pathetic. I know. But with tough weather it’s just getting out the door that is the hard part. Once you’re into your run you’re ok, but getting started can be impossible for me.

Good for you for having the power to take that all important first step on a gloomy day!

Roni how do you find out about marathons going on in your area? Myself and a friend want to make it a goal of ours, but I have no clue were to look, google is not giving me much. Any help would be great! Glad to hear your little one is okay. Thanks Roni!

I have been in the toddler’s shoes! When I was little I was trying to open an automatic door, for some reason it didn’t “see” me when I was in front of it so I went over and tried to push the door open it “saw” me and opened catching a good amount of my arm and hand. It wouldn’t close and let me loose because it sensed me there so a manager at the grocery store had to override the door with his key… I’m sorry you had to go through that. IT is super scary to be in that situation in.

Hey Roni!

I found your blog about a month ago – and I think you’re amazing! I just wanted to let you know that I’m running Zooma Annapolis as my first 1/2 marathon too!

I had my daughter last June and then I caught the running bug in September. I’m still pretty new to running, and the Zooma training distance runs used to scare me so much – but now I’m just so excited! Maybe we’ll see each other in Annapolis :-) Look for three girls in black and pink tank tops that say “Martini Minxes” on them!

OMG! That is sooo scary! I would have freaked too. I couldn’t even imagine. I’m glad he’s okay, but that really worries me. Now I’m going to watch Evie with hawk eyes on elevators from now on!
