Thursday thoughtless

I got nothin’. I’m serious. Out of gas. Head is completely empty. All I have is personal updates. Sorry to disappoint.. next week I’ll have double links. Promise!

As for me… Well… let’s start with this morning’s run. The first once since I’ve been sick. I have NO idea where it came from but I ran my fasted mile ever! 8:58 AND I finished 5 miles in about 46:30. The funny thing.. I thought I was running slow? lol it was weird feeling.

run

Not much on GreenLiteBites this week. Just a soup I made to help me feel better, Sweet Pepper and Hot Sausage Soup, and this weeks video, Homemade Apple Pie Oatmeal (the toddler is in rare form.. this one is a must see.)

On SkinnyMinnyMedia I posted a comic that is surely a glimpse of my future, a post about when to post on your blog and a video about social media and ice cream.

Fun updates.. I FINALLY got a hand me down microwave! YAY! Although I was getting used to not having one, I love having my microwave popcorn back. It was really the only thing I missed. As for house.. I’ve had a few showings but no buyers.. YET! I’m trying to keep my hopes up. :) Anyone looking for a house in Maryland? I know a place, close the highway, easy commute to Baltimore, nice community. ;~P

ok.. I’m signing off. I’ve been dreaming about a VitaTop and a chocolate soy milk snack since starting this post. :~) Which reminds me I would post my food journal but twitter lost a few of my entries today. :( Which sucks because I recommitted to keeping my food journal today and I did a really good job!

Oh well… Good Night!

At least you have had showings! Not a one in two weeks. Won’t anyone ever want to buy our house? We had hoped to be moved by beginning summer, now I’ll be happy if it happens THIS year. Ugh!

ok…I recomitted to staying on track and keeping my journal last Friday
    and…..
    I did IT!
I’ve been on my points or a few less EVERY day……
I can not tell you the last time that happened!
    I lost 5 lbs this week……
so now comes the hard part…the remaining 8 that I gained…(the first week is always a GREAT loss isn’t it??)and of course – getting back to the exercise routine. Baby steps. I forget that when you ‘surrender’ to the program and do what they say, you get empowered….:-) Who knew that surrendering and empowering could be used for the same thing.
Looking forward to another great week!!!

LOL your title made me do a double take (did I just see what I thought I saw lol).

Still, even with no “thoughts” and being sick, you had an eventful, empowered week. Hope you’re feeling better now… you must be, with that run!

laurieann – I just keep telling myself… “all it takes is one buyer… all it takes is one buyer.” The problem with the showings is every time I have one I get my hopes up only to find out what the hated about the house. It’s depressing. :( Good luck and keep me posted!

me – AWESOME!!! The momentum is ow going in your direction.. just keep it up! I love the surrender/empowering… you’re right it is a strange relationship.

Thanks Suzyn! The cold is still lingering but I’m mushing through! :)

ROFL, Roni, the comic strip is EXACTLY what I told my parents when they called last weekend :D My mom complained I’ve been calling home less (it’s a very busy time in college for me now) and I told her, “You can read my blog posts. Please coment.” :)

    Roni,

I ordered my first batch of VitaTops… I call them VitaBrownies and they were SO good! Even the husband was impressed! Last night, as I was eating one, I was like “there’s no way these are only OnE point!” I literally got up to recheck my points calculator because they are such a fabulous snack! Thanks.

Ps. I also purchased almond milk from my grocery store but haven’t gotten the guts to try it! ;) I’ll let you know!

I love your running updates. I’m having shoe issues, because I live and hour and a half away from the nearest Wal-Mart, let alone a running store. Mine are okay, but I can tell they just aren’t the right ones, because I can’t run as far or as long without aches that didn’t used to be there. *sigh* It’s frustrating.

Sorry that things aren’t going as quickly as you want on the home selling front. Ours was on the market for 7 months but we just finally sold it and will be closing next week. I’m not superstitious (or Catholic) but someone told us to get a statue of St. Joseph and bury it in our yard. It sounds completely crazy but I was desperate and tried it. I buried it in my flower box about 5 minutes before a showing and got an offer that same night. It was the best $10 that I ever spent!
