    I love your advice on the first question not to over-think things. Sometimes I think I use not knowing the best way to exercise as an excuse to actually not exercise at all, which is, of course, ridiculous!

    Hey Roni,

    Love your site. I had read somewhere about a year go (I think WW Mag) that you actually burn about 400 extra calories a day during that time of the month. Definitely not enough calories to let yourself eat 15 chocolate chip cookes or a whole box of chocolates or a whole pint of B&J……

    I don’t comment often but I just want to say thanks for the podcasts. I used to listen to them on the computer. I’ve just gotten back running after a long hiatus and have been somewhat unmotivated. I’ve been listening to one of your podcasts for the first half of my run and the time flies by. Just the twist I needed to make my workouts a littlemore interesting. Thanks! They are great motivation (as is the rest of your site).

    Hiya Roni! I’m the same way about drinking (and not wanting to waste my points on liquids – or alchohol).

    FYI wine is a great choice. I don’t drink often but I learned to love wine b/c of WW :) 2 points for 5oz. You can have a whole stinking bottle for 10pts! Not bad LOL.

    Hi Roni – another great podcast! I download them from itunes and listen to them when I go out for a walk. I use my walks to think through things that are bothering me, refocus my goals and motivation and your podcasts and advice really help me some days.

    I really related to the part where you were talking about making peace with your stretch marks. I also have stretch marks on my arms, my stomach, my legs. And many of them have faded over time, but they also remind me of where they came from and what was going on with my body (and my head!) at the time I got them.

    And as Alison comments above, wine is actually a great choice when you’re on WW. I have a glass with dinner many nights and it’s only 2 points! Sometimes my boyfriend and I will split the bottle on a Friday night and it’s still less than 6 pts. Totally don’t mind trading in some activity points for that! It’s such a treat for me.
