LOL Roni! That’s ‘96 alright :)
I’ve been wanting to make an old school hip hop playlist OR 90’s club jams playlist. I’ll keep you posted on how those work out.

Love Fiona Apple … but I must not be cool enough to have heard of the other songs. The only Cake song I know is something about going the distance …

Nice one! Though I dig the 80’s for working out. “Alive and Kicking” by The Simple Minds - always track #1.

OMG- I was just instantly transported to my college campus, relaxing on the main lawn between the art building and SPEA between classes in the late spring of ‘96.
Great playlist!

ahhh - 1996… first year of college and SOOOOO many memories. Your lists kicks but BTW, other than a few Canadian bands (Spirit of the West - Home for a Rest, for one… utube it!) that are missing, this looks like it is a page from my history too!

I’m totally cracking up at some of the comments. I must be super old because I don’t know a single one of these songs. *cringes* By 1996 I had been married, divorced, remarried and had a toddler. LOL I think the standard tunes on my stereo that year was Elmopalooza. Hahaha.
