Comments are close. I don't have time to defend an opinion I posted 2 years ago. For that that like the product, I'm glad it's working for you.

You guys are cracking me up. How did I slam either of your comments? I left them up, allowing you to share your opinion on my blog. Yes, "allowing" as this is MY blog and in a way I am a "god" as Sara mentioned.

I think it's great that you guys are leaving comments in support of the product! For those that find my post and disagree with me they can read thru the comments and see that others share their opinion too.

That's how I run the comment section of my blog. I'm not apologizing for not liking a product and then sharing that opinion in a space that I created specifically to share my opinion.

And if I remember correctly Sharon, you attacked me making a claim that I removed part of you comment. Which I would never, EVER do.

Yeah Roni..I would have to agree with Sara. My comment in support of the bars, was also slammed. Not sure why you make this exchange such a bad experience...odd. Our exchange took place over a year ago and I still remember your odd attack response.

You've had success with them? AWESOME! I'm glad they worked for you. It stil doesn't change the fact that I don't like them.

Thanks for adding your experience and congrats on your weight loss.

My gosh, you are quite rude. You come across as pretentious and a know it all. I love the line of products made by full bar. They work and incase you hadnt noticed, they do contribute to managing your intake of food. If you are concious and aware of what you are putting in your mouth, that is half the battle. MORE THAN HALF. I lost 90 pounds and have kept it off for 5 years. I know this is your blog, (and I'm sure it makes you feel like God) but, you are not everyone. Your way is not the only way. The products work as described, and that is what matters.

I have been using Fullbar and I definitely eat less food. I honestly don't think they taste bad at all. I happen to like the texture. It's different, but I personally don't mind it. I use Fullbar 1/2 hour before lunch and 1/2 hour before dinner. I lost 5 lbs. the first two weeks. I will keep going with it. I think John Birmingham came on too strong in his first post, but he was angry that the product he liked was being bashed. I can understand how he feels. I am not condoning his initial actions, but can put myself in his shoes to understand why he did that. When I initially read the article, I also felt a bit defensive to Fullbar because it personally is working for me.

Hi. I just tried Fullbar for the first time today and decided to check online about what everybody was saying. I bought it in CVS for a little over a dollar per bar. Anyway. You were incredibly right about the taste. After my first bite, I was trying to decide whether I really wanted to finish it or not. Lol. But alas, I did finish it because my goal was to not be as hungry. The Coco Chip tastes bad from first bite cause I wasn't used to it, but it started to taste a little bit better with each new bite. Guess I started to get used to it. Haha.

Anyway, I do feel pretty full now which means it does work. :) And I do disagree with the whole "stuck buying Fullbars for life because you never learned how to adjust your diet and portions for long term success" part. I think the Fullbars are actually trainging your body to start eating in smaller portions. After being used to eating smaller portions and feeling full, your brain starts to think "That's enough" when you fill your plate. That's the impression the full bar is giving me. Now I can be like "hmm, I am not hungry enough to eat that much."

But I do think your review was very helpful. :) I know that it's the puffed up wheat that causes you to feel full and I think I will go and buy some. I also think that the comment about the taste was helpful too. For a second I thought it was just me. Hahaha.

Good luck on your continuing weight loss! :)

I just bought the Full Bar tonight and tried it. I had the Roux n Y stomach staple 10 years ago, and needed something that is not so darned sweet! (hard to find), and something that would satisfy, so I don't graze and eat too much, and something to help fill me up. I got the Almond Cranberry flavor. First bite? Not that impressed, but as I ate it, it grew on me. I liked it. Doesn't taste like puffed rice to me. Kind of a nutty flavor. Didn't taste stale, but then NOT sweet!. I did feel full, and it stopped my craving immediately for cake. Since I cannot eat sweets and constantly crave them, this was a winner for me. First one tho, and I need to evaluate for a while. I will check back later and let you know if I change my mind.

Gina - AWESOME! I'm glad you like them and that you added your intelligent, well thought out, opinion and experience. Not just a heated reaction to my review. I hope it helps those that can relate.

I like them. The flavor is so-so, but they do make me feel full for a long time. I am not a regular reader of this blog because I didn't know it existed. I found it when I googled "Full Bar" because I have become so impressed with the product over the past few days. I do not work for Full Bar and I think it is childish to believe that everyone who disagrees with the blogger works for Full Bar because they are not devotees of her blog.

I eat a healthy diet, but I have issues with appitite. This product is helpful for me. I don't think that most other foods that I can eat for 180 calories have the same protein and fiber contents as the Full Bar. The protein and fiber are what makes you full, not the water. Drinking water before a meal has never made me feel full. Certainly not for several hours like the full bar does.

I don't care about adding 360 calories to my day because I am so satisfied that I have to remind myself to eat and I know I am cutting way more than 360 calories from my average day. I am guessing that I am cutting about 1.000 on average.

Will I still eat them after I lose weight? I doubt it, since I am obviously eating less and my stomach will shrink. When my stomach is smaller I will be eating the amount that it takes to feel satisfied, but that will be less than I am eating now because my stomach is smaller. As long as I continue to monitor portion size I will keep the weight off and will no longer need this product to feel full.

Is it expensive? It doesn't seem to me to be too much of a sacrifice to spend $50 / month for a few months to have this little bit of help getting over the appitite hump since my issue is that I am just hungry a lot and have to learn to eat less to shrink my stomach. I suspect this is the primary issue for a lot of people. When I eat a full bar I am definitely eating much less in volume and calories at that meal even including the full bar.

I have lost three pounds in two days. I know that is not water weight because all of the dieting, cutting out this and that, drinking more water, exercising, etc. that I have been doing for th past decade have not given me these results. It is the fiber and protein and the fact that you feel full and eat less all around.

Roni, I know that you will "stand by [your] opinion." That's great. Your review seems to be helpful to a lot of people. I will stick with the full bard. I bought 18 boxes (108 bars) for $54.12 plus tax at Big Lots. My husband also thinks they are great, so this supply will last us noth about a month. I may decide that my appitite is sufficiently under control at that point or I may buy more even at full price. I am sure I will be spending less on groceries since I am eating less.

Thanks for the honest review. I hope that my honest review, based on having tried the product, is also helpful to some folks.
